she's the twin sister of billy hargrove, but he was known to be the more popular and problematic of the two. now don't be fooled . . . callie was problematic as well in the sense that she was quite reckless. differing from her brother she preferred not to bully people for fun but instead minded her own business and occasionally smoked a bit too much weed.
moving to hawkins was not ideal for her or billy, and their stepsister maxine. they all missed their old home and the fact that their parents were once single although callie had to admit, she liked not having her father's attention and abuse. but despite all the daddy and mommy issues, callie was extremely normal not boring just mediocre. there was nothing too special about the girl despite the fact that her family was fucked up but what's new? compared to billy, callie was seemingly level-headed and possibly even intelligent.
her social skills though lacked immensely.
upon her arrival at her new school, she didn't really make any friends but happened to make an enemy that was unaware to her. just her luck, she somehow made the ❝ king of hawkins ❞ hate billy and her. the hate steve had for callie was by association though, the twins looked too similar for them to act differently, or so he assumed along with the rest of the school. but while billy grew in popularity ( mostly with the girls of hawkins high ), callie gained acquaintances that she probably wouldn't be friends with normally. she decided to try it out though, new town meant a fresh start.
