There were no other interactions between me and Mattheo throughout the dinner other than some quick glances. After, the prefix of each house lead their students to the common room of the designated house they were in.
We arrived in the Slytherin common room and all went our separate ways, except me and pansy which were heading straight to our dorm room. We had sat there on my bed talking about how our summer's were, i didn't say much I was mostly just listening to Pansy talk.
"Hey I'm starting to get really tired I think I'm going to head to bed." Pansy said as she started heading towards her bed.
I sat in my bed for a while but I just couldn't fall asleep. I threw on a green zip up with a white tank top and some brown jeans and started heading to the astronomy tower making sure to bring a book with me.

The astronomy tower is such a comfort place for me, whenever I get stressed or just need a break I head up there and just watch the stars or read.
I soon arrived to the top of the astronomy tower. I sat down and started to reading letting all of my worry's leave my mind, after a while of reading I heard the sound of someone coming up the stairs. I went to hide incase it is a teacher, the footsteps where getting closer and closer. Until they finally reached to top of the stairs and I looked out from where I was hiding and it was Riddle. *what is he doing here?* He went over near the railing and lit a cigarette "Are you just going to sit there and watch me or do you want to come join me?" "Sorry I thought you were a teacher" i said as I walked out of where I was hiding to join him near the railing
After a few moments of silence, I asked "So what at are you doing up here so late?" "just getting some fresh air."
"What about you, what are you doing up here?" "Just trying to read" "hm nice" he said as he put the cigarette back up to his mouth "you smoke?" "Yeah you got a problem with that?"
"No" I responded. after a moment of silence he held out the cigarette to me to take a puff, i take it from him and take a hit before handing it back. im savoring the feeling the smoke is giving me when he starts to talk again "i didn't think you would take it" "yeah well i guess you don't know me that well" "then maybe we should get to know eachother" I nod my head
Third pov:
They talked for the rest of the night while leaning against the wall. Sage fell asleep while leaning against mattheos shoulder, he looked down and noticed that she was asleep and smiled to himself before falling asleep not long after.
