"Are you sure you really wanna go back there?" a small voice said, causing Skyler and Holly to glance up to find Gabby standing in the doorway with sadness in her eyes, "what if you get trapped there?"

The two girls exchanged an uncertain look before their attention fell back on the Gothel girl. Despite wanting to reassure Gabby that Ben wouldn't let them get trapped there, they couldn't. Yes, Holly and Skyler trusted the King of Auradon, but it was only to a certain extent. They barely knew anything about the Beast boy other than what Rylee and Morgan had told him. And even though they're trying not to hold grudges anymore, both girls were still upset that they weren't chosen initially to come to Auradon. To that day, they still didn't understand how Ben was okay with leaving so many kids behind to live on the Isle of the Lost.

On top of all that, if the King didn't keep his word and left Holly and Skyler behind, the latter would be facing nothing but trouble. And that was all because of what happened a few days before the daughter of Scar met Rylee and Morgan. Like most children on the Isle of the Lost, Skyler was terrified of her father. She was afraid of what he would do if she didn't listen to him or agree with his beliefs. On top of that, her older brother was a carbon copy of their father, which didn't help the Leeu girl's fears in the slightest. So when Skyler made a remark that it was her father's fault they were trapped on the Isle, Scott threatened her with his sword while Scar shouted at her to get out of their house. That was the last time she saw either of them.

Skyler stayed trapped in her own thoughts as Holly walked toward Gabby and pulled her in for a tight hug. The two of them stayed like that for a long moment before the daughter of the Queen of Hearts finally broke the silence that surrounded them. "You know we don't want to go back there, Gabs. But if we don't go, then Rudy, Sapphire, and Elias are gonna go without us. I think we all know that's a bad idea."

"But Rylee and Morgan survived without a guide," the daughter of Mother Gothel retaliated, earning a small chuckle from Holly.

"Not everyone in Auradon is like Rylee and Morgan. We discovered that the second we arrived here," the daughter of the Queen of Hearts responded in a reassuring tone despite the pit forming in her stomach. She kept Gabby securely in her arms for a moment longer before slightly pushing the girl away to look her in the eyes. "I promise, we'll be back. It'll only be for a few days. A week at most."
