The mysterious forest

Sayuri's pov -

I slowly started to wake up as my brain told me it was time to wake up and start my boring routines again.

I opened my eyes and smiled slightly seeing my pack snuggling beside me but, somehow I can feel a bit of change in them. When I fully woke up I was shocked to find that I am no longer in my bedroom but in a dense wispirian forest and the trees were giant to boot.

"What is happening here?" I mumbled to not scare my pack but alas they all woke up and stared at me then at their surroundings Lizzy the pack's alpha/leader started sniffing the area and told the pack to check the surroundings as well. Now, seeing this I also stood up and started analysing my situation I was not scared as this was a common occurrence for me. Being the top surgeon didn't save me from being kidnapped by bad people who wanted to use my knowledge to engrave fear in people. But what they didn't know was that I am a black belt and a very dangerous assassin as well secondly those dumb people would always select the same locations near a forest or a canopy. From there only I can escape back towards my home as I have a very special gift that nobody except my pack knows about.

I can heal people with the magic technique "48 palms of mistic" and Can talk freely with the forest spirits that reside deep in the canopies of forests. which I developed when I saved Lizzy the pack's alpha during one of my health check-up rounds for animals living in the forest on weekends. I found him near the rotten area where piles of dead and poisoned animal corps were thrown by the hunters that I just killed that day. I checked him and he was still breathing so, started treating him but, he was losing his breath quickly in my desperation I thought if only I could somehow save him I would never let anyone harm him he would be my family from now on. I immediately hugged him and told him
" Please live I promise I would never abandon you I would be your family so, please live" and I let my tears fall then I noticed the warmth of the green light surrounding both of us. Slowly the wounds on Lizzy started closing on their own and at that time I could feel and hear the emotions of the trees the insects even the thoughts of my pack from far away it was like somehow I was connected to them as they were to me then I felt Lizzy licking me on my cheeks as if to say thank you and as promised I introduced him to the pack and after 2 weeks he started participating with them in their training and defeated most of them except his wife the only husky in the pack Lily they were the leader of their pack in their missions and everyone followed them.

Suddenly I heard growling and I came out of my thoughts to notice that giant animal spirits were coming our way. Every type of spirit be it a Wolf or tiger, Eagle or Snake every species were present as if they were gathering to welcome someone.

" Lizzy, Lily stop!" they immediately calmed down sensing that I was relaxed even after being stared down by spirits they immediately understood that they meant no harm.

Slowly I came towards them and bowed respectfully " I greet all the spirits of the forest I am Sayuri Watanabe and this is my pack these two Lizzy and Lily are the pack leaders. While the rest are behind them. I ask pardon for their rash behaviour as we aren't familiar with our surroundings and they were quite afraid to suddenly see you as they couldn't see the spirits from our native forest." They all nodded in response few of them even said it was all right since Only spirit animals and Gods can see them.

The leader of the spirits a golden Lion with sea-green eyes and wings came forward and bowed in front of me everyone else followed too
" I Haru the leader of every single spirit residing in the forest of spirits greet the child of Goddess Amaterasu. Child we all came here to guide you back home as your mother has called upon you."

"I have heard your words Haru-san but, you must have made some mistakes. I am not the goddess's child I am just a normal human with a little bit of gift from her."
