There was once a man named Cameron. He is a Thief, and he used to be really idealistic. Today he had sneaked onto a ship that was importing dolls to the Bermuda Triangle. Weird right? It was a special order from the US. Government. Cameron wanted to find out why. Hours passed, and Cameron decided to take a nap in a doll box. He opened one up and out came a small, greenish looking creature with horns. Cameron got inside the box. "Hey! I was using that scumbag!" A voice yelled. Cameron flinched. He turned around but the doll had disappeared. Little did Cameron know that he had just experienced a goblin talk. He woke up from his nap. They had reached the Bermuda Triangle. Cameron got out of the ship and acted like a worker. He peered over the ship. There was a deep, black hole leading to the bottom of the ocean. And it was in the shape of a triangle. They got in a single file line. One by one, the workers started jumping into the triangle. His turn came, and he jumped. At first, it was pitch black. Then he saw green. He saw moss, and trees. He saw a bunch of quirky animals. And things I can't explain. Once he hit the bottom, he saw two workers going inside a cave with boxes. "Shoot, I didn't bring boxes," Cameron thought. He followed them into the cave. Once he was inside, he gasped. There was a kitchen, a living room, lanterns, stairs leading to a second story, it looked like the inside of a house. Sitting on a chair, there was the same greenish creature he had seen earlier. "Humans finally found us, huh?" The Goblin sneered. The two workers turned to ashes. Cameron hid behind some furniture. "Come down kids! Time for dinner!" The goblin shouted. Down the stairs came hundreds of baby goblins. "Humans are outside!" The goblins flowed out the cave, seemingly never ending. The Dad goblin got out of his chair, and went over to Cameron. "Did you bring boxes?" It snarled. "N- no!" Cameron stuttered. The goblin pulled out a switchblade wand. "Who are you? And where are you from?" It asked. "I'm Cameron Cline and I'm from Sacramento!" The goblin looked outside. "Shhhh! Hold still!" He shushed. The baby goblins came back in. Once they were gone, the goblin came back and said, "Sneak downstairs."As the goblins ran upstairs, Cameron ran downstairs. The basement was like a crossover between a modern mansion and a fantasy castle. There was a kitchen, with sleek black counters and dozens of gleaming knives. On the other side there was a king sized bed next to a garage sized hearth. And in the center of the room there was a hot tub, and behind it there was an elevator. This only made Cameron wonder what was upstairs even more. And more importantly, why the goblin has helped him. He heard footsteps. He hid behind the hot tub. Cameron peeked around the corner, but it was just the goblin. The hot tub became transparent. "Stop hiding! I'm not going to hurt you!" The goblin shouted. "Where am I?" Cameron asked. The goblin sighed. "Eshington! Has the government told you nothing?" The goblin demanded. Cameron was about to speak, but the goblin raised his hand authoritatively. "Eshington has been at war for millennium, and I'm afraid it'll always be that way." Cameron cocked his head. "You mean the year will stay the same? It'll always be Millenia?" The goblin disappeared. Cameron had a million questions. At war with who? Why is there a war? How did the war get started? How did you just disappear? What happened to the other humans? Why do you have such a fancy basement? Why do you have so many kids? He went upstairs. He spotted the goblin and his children eating. Once they were done, the goblin then said, "go take a nap," and the little baby goblins went upstairs. Cameron entered the living room. He then asked him all of the questions he thought of earlier. "At war with who?" He asked. "Dragons," The goblin replied. "How?" "No one knows." "What happened to the other humans?" He asked. "My children ate them." A horrible feeling washed over Cameron. Once he had answered all his questions, he asked where he could sleep. "Right here," the goblin said, and with a wave of his wand, Cameron fell into a dreamless, deep sleep. The next morning Cameron awoke with a start, thinking that he had a nightmare. Instead, he found himself in another living room. There he saw a giant, black blob standing beside the fireplace. Cameron ran to hide behind a couch, which seemed like a terrible idea. Before he knew it, there was a crash as the blob dropped something. "Oops! Did I break your statue?" The blob asked. "Wait, is that a person?" Cameron looked around wildly. He saw several more creatures. One was a man with a mustache who was talking about something to a woman who wasn't there. Another one had an egg. Then he noticed that there were more kids than he originally thought. All of the children had white hair, blue eyes, pointy ears, and wings. Some were sleeping, others were sitting up and watching TV or playing video games. A few of them were playing hide and seek while a few others read comic books, and a few were playing with their toys. The goblins were asleep against the walls, and there were so many more. There was also a man holding a sword, an egg, and a gun. As they walked up the staircase, the man said, "Hey, kid! You're new here, aren't ya?" "Yes, sir," Cameron replied nervously. "Well don't worry, this is Eshington. No matter how weird everything else seems, we'll figure it out in time," the man smiled. As if on cue, a young girl in the corner spoke up, "He's the one who saved us from the giants!" She pointed to Cameron. "You did that?" "Huh? Oh! Well, yeah...I guess...?" He stammered. The man laughed. "Welcome aboard." He said. "Thank you sir!" Cameron replied. "Oh, and call me Geoff." "Okay, Geoff." Cameron said. Geoff led Cameron to a bedroom. "This is yours." He said. "Thanks Geoff!" Cameron said. Geoff left the room. Cameron took off his shoes and climbed into bed.
