A few minutes passed before my eyes fell on the very familiar car I had seen several times. It was the car I couldn't forget, and I knew it belonged to King. My car halted behind his that was parked near a private jet.

A smile crawled over my lips, the sides curling as I found the car still switched on. He hadn't left. Slipping my hands away from the steering wheel, I unbuckled and stepped out of my car.

At the same time, the car door in front of me unlocked and King hopped out. Under the broad daylight, he looked handsome, so much that I couldn't tear my eyes away from him nor kill the butterflies storming in my stomach. He was dressed in a black suit with a red tie hanging from his neck.

I froze on my steps. One glance at him and I felt relieved. It didn't get to late and that was all that mattered.

King stepped forward while his eyes flickered over me. The corner of his lips curled as he stopped in front of me and asked, "What are you doing here?" His voice was gentle, soft and everything I had been wanting to hear.

"I—I," My chest dropped, "I just wanted to see you. I didn't you were leaving so fast. I thought you would be staying here for a while longer." I replied, heaving breaths escaping my throat. A great hunger settled deep inside me as if I had been waiting for this moment only.

His eyes flickered to mine. He stretched his arm and before I knew, his fingers were tracing curved lines across my jaw. Heat rushed inside me. My heart beat hard against my chest and my mouth ached. I pressed my tongue against the roof of my mouth to soothe the ache that rose from nowhere.

"I'm sorry," He murmured, taking a few steps closing, finishing the distance between us. "I didn't know how to reach out. I thought you'd be needing some time by yourself." He explained, honesty in his eyes and his warm tone.

I opened my mouth and replied, "I do but I can't—I don't want to this alone." My lips parted slightly as I told him what was in my heart.

It was devastating to hear that King was leaving town.

I didn't want that.

"Why can't you stay here for longer? It is your hometown after all." I tried to convince him but at the same time, I wasn't willing to beg him to stay for me and see if there was something we could work out between us.

"I've to return to handle a few matters." He sighed and placed his hands back into his pockets.

"What if something happens to me? What if I begin feeling some unusual pain or something else?" I questioned him as my memories rushed back to the evenings I spent alone taking care of the bite his wolf had given me. I was unable to share it with anyone.

"Of course, I'll be here if you need me, Eos." He said before taking a deep breath in and pushing his shoulders back. "But I find it difficult to keep my hands away from when I'm around you and it's becoming a struggle to side my focus on anything else." He continued.

I was a little taken back. The knots in my stomach tightened a bit more and the tingling sensation spread through my body. "You don't have to keep your hands off me." I drew my lower lip into my mouth and said.

His hands came wrapping around my face, cupping my cheeks, lightly at first. He brushed the tendrils behind my face before his fingers ran through my lips. I pursed my lips together and took in a deep breath. The closeness strengthened his scent. Oh, his scent. I found my insides shaking and trembling at his scent, wanting to leave everything and side by him. It was something I had never felt before—a strong emotion, stronger than love. It made me want to get down on my knees for him.

I gasped as his lips found mine. He kissed me gently, my body felt as if it was being praised. The distance between us vanished entirely. He took me in his arms, skin to skin and pushed himself deeper into the kiss.

I was shocked.

The sun rising after a storm and the warmth of it—that felt like his every caress on my body.

My breathing grew rapid. I dipped my fingers into his curly locks and grabbed him nearer to my mouth. When he wrapped his hands around my waist, I found myself losing conscious and fading into a world I wasn't sure existed.

"The plane is ready, Mr. King." An unfamiliar man's voice boomed through the silence.

Instead of parting our lips, our kiss become longer and deeper. His hands roamed over my body, exploring, and feeling me as his breathing became heavier. I pressed my eyes shut tighter and kissed him back as if I had been starving for many days. Blood rushed to my ears. My underwear damped between my legs before I pulled my lips away from him.

We took a moment to breathe before sharing a smile at one and other.

"I'll be back by tomorrow evening." He quickly said, still sounding breathless. His mouth lowered to my ears and he whispered, "And when I'm back, I only want you, all of you."

A nerve throbbed between my legs. My smile broadened, "I'll be waiting, Mr. King."

Catching his hands, I slid them off my body before returning into my car. King stood nearby, stunned and maybe a little shaken. Just before leaving, I waved my hand at him and then departed from the private grounds.
