-narrator pov-
Later that night a storm rolls in. Rin was already tossing and turning from the dream he was having. He began to talk out loud then started to yell.
"ehh....NO PLEASE STOP" he whimpered, started to cry in his sleep.
"GET AWAY FROM ME" he yelled kicking the bed sheets still in the dream.
Lightning struck the ground. Lighting up the room and shaking the house with a big bang.
Rin shot up and held his legs tight to his chest. His noise started to run and tears falling down his face. He tried to be as quiet as possible, because he didn't want Bon to wake up because of him. But he couldn't hold it in any longer. He let of small sobs whenever there was a big bang. He tried to lay back down but another bang struck the ground causing him to shoot back up. Rin let out a small whimper, and crawled into a small ball under the sheets.
Bon woke up from whatever crashed outside. He looked around the room not able to see much, but he heard faint sniffles coming from his bed. When the room lit up from the lightning strike. Bon could see Rin huddled up under the sheets.
Bon got up and started walking towards Rin. Bon grabbed the sheets and pulled them off of Rin.
"AHH... please not hurt me.." Rin yelled covering his head and closing his eyes tightly.
"I'm not going to hurt you.." Bon said climbing in the bed and grabbed Rin, placing him in his arms, and holding him close to his chest.
"Bo..n.." Rin sniffled.
"It was just a dream, I'm here now.." Bon said in a whisper and soft tone. Rin sniffled and wiped his eyes.
"shh...shhh....It's okay.. I won't let anyone hurt you, ever again." He whispered softly and slowly started stoking Rins hair.
Rin stopped crying and nuzzled his head into Bons chest, while wrapping his tail around Bons torso.
When Bon felt Rins tail around him, he had to move them both so they were laying more on their sides. So they would be more comfortable. Rin was still close to Bons chest and his tail was still on Bons torso. Bon slowly put his arm on Rins torso, and moved him closer to him.
Every now and then Rin would make soft snoring noises, and curl up closer to Bon.
Bon signed and smiled to himself. "I guess I ended up sleep with you either way" he whispered to himself, laughing lightly.
