I'm taking my usual walk home to my apartment. But something just seems so different about the road, the sidewalk, the lights also seem to be flickering. you can hear night sounds like the sound of the crickets chirping, branches on the trees rustling in the cool night air. but there is one sound I don't recognize. its like a dragging sound. as if someone or something is being dragged against its will. weird. probably just a stray dog dragging a limb or its food.
But just when I am about to walk past some woods I hear a girl scream for help. "HELP!!" the girl screams. I don't know what to do. so I run in the woods. "hello?! anyone in here? I heard someone scream for help." I say. I just stand there like an idiot waiting for a response. but I don't get one. then I hear something snap followed by a really loud high pitched scream. now I am officially scared out of my mind. Its also really dark now and I cant see very good.
I all of a sudden see two bright red eyes. oh just great, now I am starting to hallucinate. I think to myself. I need to find my way out of here but those red eyes seem to be turning darker and darker. and its starting to scare me even more. I can even hear my own heartbeats getting louder and louder every time I look back at those dark red eyes.
Then I hear the mouth that goes with them. its a boy's voice. its so mesmerizing. it a deep, beautiful British accent. "What is a beautiful girl like you doing out here in these woods? aren't you afraid?" it says. "Um.. I heard a girl scream and yes I am a little afraid." I say. "hm..good." he says.
Then I see four more sets of dark red eyes. I start to get scared again. then everything goes black.
VAMPIRE'S POV: The beautiful girl blacks out. I'm assuming Louis used his mind powers on her. I gut a little irritated at him. I don't know why but I just did. "LOU?! why was that necessary?!" I yell at him. "Harry! I had to! Tristan is coming! we have to get back to the castle! Niall, your the fastest you carry her c'mon." Niall picks her up softly. He has always been the gentle one. In fact I think he is the most gentle vampire I have ever met. Anyway Tristan is an evil werewolf. he probably wants to know what the commotion is about. but he is not going to find out. END OF POV
GIRL'S POV: I wake up to a deep voice. its mumbling. my eyes flutter open and I blink once or twice to take in my surroundings. They do not look familiar. Its still dark out. I start to get scared and wonder where I am. I remember the voice. I turn in the direction in which I originally heard it. There right beside the bed I am laying on is.. LIAM PAYNE?! what? the liam payne from one direction is standing in the same room as me? what is going on here.
Then I start to remember last night. That girl's scream. His eyes. The five pair of dark red hungry eyes. my heart beats faster and faster until I think it is going to come flying out of my chest. liam walks over to the bed I am laying on and sits beside me. "no need to be afraid of me love. I will not hurt you" he says. I feel relieved a bit.
I sit up and just stare at him. studying every detail on his face. his beautiful brown eyes. his mouth. his fangs. WAIT............ WHAT?!! FANGS?!?!! he cant be. omg those aren't real! no way. I scream in fear. I hear four sets of footsteps coming up stairs. The door swings open and in comes Niall, Harry, Louis, and Zayn.
"What did you do liam?!" harry yells. "I didn't do anything. she was just sitting there staring at me then she screamed...oh." liam says. "She must have saw your fangs Li!" Louis says. "put them away your scaring her!" Niall says. Liam's fangs disappear into his mouth. now I am officially in shock. I bet I look really dumb sitting here staring at vampires. they are going to eat me for sure. I think to myself.
"No, love. we are not going to eat you." I hear one of them say. "who said that? I didn't even see any of your mouths move." I say. everyone looks confused at my question except Louis. I guess it was him. "I did love." I hear again. I guess he is reading my mind and sending me answers. I am sitting in a room full of vampires and I am not dead yet.. hm.. so far so good.
"So what's your name love?" Zayn asks. everyone directs their attention on me. "C..Claire." I say. I'm still a bit shaken up by the fact that One Direction are all vampires. "That's a beautiful name." harry says. " thanks." I say. " um.. where am I?" I ask. "Oh. you are at our castle. and this is your room." Zayn says. "m.. my room? what about my apartment?" I ask. "you will be staying here so you will be safe." Zayn replies. " safe? what do you mean safe? HOW IS LIVING IN A HOUSE FULL OF VAMPIRES SAFE?!!" I yell. getting agitated.
"YOU HAVE TO STAY HERE! YOU DONT WANT TO GET KILLED BY TRISTAN AND HIS PACK DO YOU?! DO YOU?!!?" Zayn yells. "no." I say. "OKAY THEN." zany yells still fuming with anger. he turns and walks out the door and slams it behind him. why did I have to go in the woods? I could have just let the girl call for help. couldn't I? no. I couldn't I have to do everything in my power to help someone. I don't know why. I just do.
Harry walks over to my bed and sits beside me. "I'm sorry. sometimes Zayn gets angry when he needs a drink. just promise not to leave?" harry asks. I nod. I don't know why I said I would stay here. I guess something about them. something about Louis, Liam, Zayn, Harry, and Niall made me feel like I belonged here. but honestly I don't think I do. I am taken out of my train of thought by the door easily shutting and soft footsteps going down the stairs.
I lay down in the bed and get under the covers and think about what Zayn meant when he said "Tristan and his pack." who is Tristan? and why would someone I don't know want to kill me? I don't know. I guess I will find out later. My brain is being jumbled with a lot of questions I don't know the answers to. but I don't feel like walking down the stairs and asking them, so I guess since this is "my" bed, I will lay in it and take a nap. Before I knew it I was fast asleep.
