FLASHBACK:(when one direction was in the woods before they met Claire) Harry's POV: The boys and I were in our castle watching a movie about vampires which was weird considering we are vampires. anyway the movie was called "Twilight" it was really dumb because #1 Vampires don't sparkle in sunlight. they either burst into flames, or turn to ash without glasses on. #2 Vampires and werewolves are mortal enemies. and #3 the whole movie was about "Oh Edward I love you! don't leave me I am so pretty and weak!! I need you!" (I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST TWILIGHT I AM JUST MAKING IT INTO HARRY'S POV.) see how dumb that is?! Louis thought it was funny. Zayn wasn't really paying attention. Liam and Niall and I were really the only ones watching it. I didn't like it at all. How does this movie have so many like rate 5's?
After the movie finished it was pretty dark out and I was getting hungry. I could tell Niall was too. But who would have guessed NIALL HORAN was hungry?! (LOL) "Why don't we all go for a bite to eat?" Louis suggests. "I for one like that idea." Niall responds. I nod in agreement, so does Liam and Zayn. We walked out the door and went in partners. but considering there were only five of us. One of us had to go alone. I was usually the one to go alone because I am the fastest one at finding food. All vampires have powers. for example: Zayn is the strongest one. Louis can make people feel any emotion like pain, fear, angriness, sadness, happiness, etc. Niall is the fastest one and he can sense the emotions other people have. for example say I was sad. he could sense the sadness and he would feel sad also. Liam can heal someone by touching them. and I can read minds and send people brain messages. (So can Louis) im also very fast.
So I am the one to go alone. I soon pick up the sent of a young women probably in her 20's. She smells delightful. I send mind messages to all the lads that I found a perfect target. We unlike other vampires are not greedy. we do not take but one person's life. we can all feed off of one person instead of all five of us having our own person. that would be wasteful to the blood we will not drink. in seconds the lads are here right beside me. Since I am also the seductive one in the group I get her attention and she willingly comes over. I give her a dimpled smile and she blushes profusely. I step closer and kiss her neck so she will tilt her head where I can drink. my eyes turn red and hungry as my fangs slip out of my mouth. I am sure she felt them because she flinched. she was about to turn her head to where I couldn't get to her neck but I sunk my fangs in and she screamed for help.
if anyone heard that we are going to have to get Zayn to snap her neck to make her shut up. "Hello? is anyone in here? I heard someone call for help?!" I heard a girl say. I motioned Zayn to do his thing so he gladly kissed her forehead then snapped her neck. Zayn always kisses our victim's forehead before snapping their neck. I think its because he doesn't want to kill them but he has to so it is as if he is saying "I'm sorry" without actually saying anything. I let Zayn do the honors in being the first to drink because I needed to find that girl before she found us.
I wondered around until I heard the faint sound of a heartbeat. it had to be the girl's. I stepped closer and I saw some beautiful blue eyes. I stepped closer and saw the girl was medium height, she had blonde hair a little past her shoulders, she was skinny but curvy. and just very beautiful. she looked a bit frightened. I am positive she saw my red eyes because I heard her heartbeat get louder and faster. I called the boys to tell them I found a beautiful girl. but the I got a message from Louis saying Tristan was coming. Gosh I hate that boy, he always tries to steal our girls we are trying to protect. only girls with a certain mark on them we are suppose to protect.
The mark looks like a small birth mark on the back of your neck. The boys soon were surrounding me and Louis said I have to do it. I knew what he meant. He needed to make her faint so we could take her back to our castle with us. "NO. LOU! do not use pain!" I sent him. I got no response. I looked at him. and he was staring right into her eyes. I looked at her as she fell to the ground. "What was that for lou?!" I yell. "Tristan is coming do you want the one we are suppose to be protecting die and us get injured?" he responds. "no." I say. I tell Niall to pick the girl up since he is the fastest. We all start speed running to our castle. We all make it there in under a minute.
Niall took the girl upstairs and I went to the fridge to get some blood since i never got fresh. I am the one who found it yet I got none! :( anyway Liam went up to stay with her incase she wakes up.
"AHHH!" I hear a few minutes later. Me and the other lads rush up the stairs. I swear if Liam hurt her I will kill him. I don't even barely know this girl and I think I like her. but that is forbidden for protectors to date the people they protect. but of course they changed it so all of us have a slight feeling for every girl we protect. I don't know why but they did. so the forbidden love doesn't apply to us anymore. it used to though.
We barge in her room and find her staring at Liam in shock and Liam looks confused. "What did you do to her Liam?" I say. "nothing she was just staring at me then.. oh." he stops. "She must have seen your fangs Liam. put them away your scaring her." Niall says. he does and she starts stuttering things like vampires aren't real. but they clearly are because we are standing right in front of her. Zayn starts asking her questions. Now we know exactly this: her name is Claire. and he doesn't think it is safe for her to live in a house full of vampires. we learned that the hard way because she and Zayn had a yelling fest and he ended up winning. he always does. I think he likes her that is why he yelled. anyway I go sit beside her and tell her that it is going to be alright and she should just get some rest.
She smiles and nods and I get up. She gets under the covers and falls asleep. the lads and I walk out and shut the door gently and go search for Zayn and make sure he is okay. END OF POV
