After staying awhile with Violet and her friends, Flamingo said it was time for something new. She put on a disguise to make herself look like a man and sailed her ship to another island. Flamingo promised she would return soon. She then found an island that was used for playing survival games. There were other people waiting on a bench, so she said to herself, “Why not?” and joined them.
“Hey!” One of the people shouted, “Where’d you come from?”
“Oh I just came from the mainland back north,” She pointed to the direction her ship came from, “It was boring back there.”
“The mainland can be pretty boring.” A British girl with wings rolled her eyes.
“What’s your name?” The first girl asked Flamingo.
“I’m Flamingo.” She stuck out her hand and the first girl shook it.
“My name’s Twisty. The zombie-looking one is Maggot Mom, we call her MM, the blue hair dude’s name is Monarch, the one with the hat is Sunflower but she likes to be called Hot Potato, or just Tato, the wolf is Pip the Tater, or just Pip or Pipsqueak, the black-haired emo girl is Rando, ‘cuz she won’t tell us her name, the cardboard wing dude is 53, and the black wing girl is Nobody- because SHE WON’T TELL US HER NAME EITHER.” Twisty pointed to each person as she said their name.
“You said your name’s Flamingo? Are you THE Flamingo with the zombie staff!?” Monarch asked, “I’m a huge fan!”
“I always thought Flamingo was a woman.” Rando said, eyeing Flamingo up and down.
“Yeah, me too.” Nobody said.
“Well, I’m not.” Flamingo chuckled.
“Guess we heard wrong. We’ve all heard of you here. Where’s the staff?” Monarch asked.
“When I got caught abusing my ADMIN powers, DannyoftheDawn caught me and took it- and my powers- away.” Flamingo shrugged.
“Oh. Sorry to hear that.” Twisty frowned.
“It’s fine. At least I’m famous!” Flamingo smiled.
“Lol.” Twisty smiled back.
“Hello, contestants! My name is Jack and I’m the gameshow host! You nine will be competing in a series of challenges, and the winner will get 5,000 dollars!” A dude came out of a door.
“I guess this is where the game starts.” Flamingo gulped.

“For the first few rounds, they will be testing your skills. But later in the game, after every round, you will have to vote someone off of your team. They don’t have to leave if they don’t want to. But we do need at least one person to stay after getting voted out, because that will be needed at the end. Without further ado, please vote on a team leader so we can start.” Jack explained.
Almost everyone voted Flamingo for leader.
“Now that the team has a leader, we can continue to the first game.”
“The first test will be about memory. The team leader will pick two people to memorize a group of objects. The winner of the two will go against another person, and the winner of those two will go up against another person.” Jack told the team.
“Seems simple.” Twisty said to herself.
“Flamingo, your two?” Jack asked.
“Hmmm… I’m going to go with… Twisty… and… Nobody.” Flamingo nodded.
Twisty rolled her eyes and walked up to a podium, same as Nobody.
“You will have 10 seconds to memorize the objects on-screen and input them into your keypad.” Jack said.
“Kay.” Nobody nodded.
The screen in front of them turned on and these were the objects shown: fish, palm tree, stick, rock, girl, smiling emoji.
After the screen turned off, Twisty looked down at her keypad and put in: fish, palm tree, rock, stick, girl, and the smiling emoji.
The podium flashed red and Twisty tried again.
Nobody, however, got it on the first try.
“Congratulations.” Twisty and Nobody shook hands and Twisty returned to her seat on the bench.
After Twisty sat down, Maggot Mom was chosen to go up against Nobody. Maggot Mom won that round.
This was the order of people:
Maggot Mom vs. Tato (Maggot Mom)
Maggot Mom vs. Monarch (Monarch)
Monarch vs. Flamingo (Monarch)
Monarch vs. 53 (Monarch)
Monarch vs. Pip (Pip)
Pip vs. Rando (Pip)
Overall, Pip had the best memory out of all of them. She got a pin that said “MEMORY”.
The next game was to test swimming skills. The setup was similar to the last game, and two people had to swim through an obstacle course and bring back a shell from the end. Whoever wins the first round will go up against the next person. This was the order:
Rando vs. Pip (Rando)
Rando vs. Monarch (Rando)
Rando vs. Nobody (Rando)
Rando vs. Maggot Mom (Rando)
Rando vs. 53 (Rando)
Rando vs. Tato (Rando)
Rando vs. Twisty (Twisty)
Twisty vs. Flamingo (Twisty)
Twisty won, and got a badge that said “SWIMMING”.
The next game was a test of strength. Two people would be placed on a platform over the water. The two people had to try and push each other into the water. The winner would be the only one without water on them. Nobody ended up winning this one, getting a badge that said “STRONK”.
The final testing game was a test of how observant you are. This game was played by each person getting assigned a different item. There was only one of each item, so if another person has the same item as another person, only one of them could win. Pip was the first one to find her item and got a badge that said “OBSERVANT”. Now it was time for the real games to begin.
The first actual “for real” game was for counting. There were five screens with a certain amount of squares on them. The first person that counted all the squares and put in the 5-digit code would win immunity, or the power to not be voted off that night.
The team ran up to the screens and frantically started counting the squares.
“6, 7, 8.” Flamingo said to herself as she moved onto the next screen.
“2, 3, 4.” She moved onto the next one. She also noticed Twisty was going back to put in her code.
“Congratulations, Twisty! You have won immunity!” Jack clapped.
“I can’t count!” Nobody groaned.
“YUS!!” Twisty pumped her fist in the air.
They went back to the main area of the island and sat on the benches for about fifteen minutes. After that, they all walked into a little hut and sat down on stools.
“Welcome to the Trial. One by one, you will walk up and write one of your contestant’s names on a sheet of paper and cast it into the ballot. After which I will draw the names and the person with the most votes will be eliminated.” Jack explained.
“53 hasn’t done anything to help.” Flamingo whispered to Maggot Mom.
“I know. So you’re proposing we vote him out?” Maggot Mom whispered back.
“Well… yeah. Tell everyone else.” Flamingo nodded.
Maggot Mom whispered to Twisty and Twisty whispered to Nobody, who whispered to Rando, and so on.
“Maggot Mom, cast your vote.”
Maggot Mom walked up to the podium and wrote on a piece of paper. She slid it into a slot and walked back to her seat.
“Flamingo, you’re up.”
Flamingo did the same.
One by one, the group was called up to cast their votes.
Then Jack started calling out the names.
“53.”
“Flamingo.”
Flamingo looked shocked. Why would anyone vote for her? She came to a realization that 53 had heard them talking, and that Flamingo had the idea to vote him out. Surely no one else would vote for her.
“53. That’s two votes for 53.”
“Flamingo. Also two votes for Flamingo.”
“53. Three votes for 53.”
“Flamingo. Third vote.”
“53. That’s the fourth vote for 53.”
“Flamingo. Fourth for Flamingo.”
Eight names had been called. There was only one more paper left. If it was Flamingo’s name, she would be out of the game.
“And the final vote is for…” Jack unraveled the paper and saw the name on it.
“...53.”
Flamingo let out a shaky breath as 53 walked out of the hut to wait on the opposite side of the island.
“I can’t trust anyone anymore. Half of them voted for me.” Flamingo muttered under her breath.
Back on the benches, Flamingo was separate from everyone and muttering to herself quietly.
“I didn’t think I would actually almost get voted off in the first round. I thought that, since I was famous and whatever, people would listen! I’m gonna have to actually try on these challenges, because half of my team wants my head on a spike!”
Soon, it was time for the next challenge. They were led to the top of a rocky hill and told the instructions by Jack.
“The person who stays on top of the hill the longest wins immunity. Good luck.”
After an air horn blew, everyone rushed up the hill and, when people started getting closer to the top, they started to push others off.
After the air horn blew again, Jack said that Flamingo had the longest time on the hill.
The group returned to the benches and waited for the next Trial.
“Anyone wanna tell scary stories?” Twisty offered.
No one responded.
“Fine them.” Twisty made a “hmph” sound and turned to face the other way.
“We should vote off Maggot Mom.” Rando whispered to Flamingo.
“I’m not having any influence on this vote.” Flamingo shot a glare at Rando and moved over a tiny bit.
Rando rolled her eyes and started to annoy Nobody.
At the Trial, someone shouted out “KILL MAGGOT MOM!” and that made Maggot Mom get all pissed off.
“That’s RUDE! What did I ever do?” Maggot Mom said aloud.
53 came through another entrance and sat down in the “Jury” section.
“It must be pretty boring, waiting for the game to end.” Flamingo whispered to Twisty.
“I know. Why do you think 53 stuck around?” She asked.
“Maybe ‘cuz he’s mad at me and wants my head on a spike.” Flamingo shrugged.
“Maybe.” Twisty also shrugged.
“Now you eight know the deal. I’ll call you up and you write someone’s name on a piece of paper. Twisty, you first.”
After everyone cast their vote, Jack started reading them out loud.
“Maggot Mom.”
“Monarch.”
Monarch looked shocked that somebody would vote for him.
“Tato.”
Tato looked at everyone in the eyes and shot a glare at everyone.
“Maggot Mom. Second vote.”
“Monarch. Second vote.”
“Tato. Second vote.”
Flamingo thought that Maggot Mom surely would be voted off, but now she wasn’t as sure.
“Maggot Mom. Third vote.”
“And the final vote…”
Flamingo looked at Maggot Mom.
“Maggot Mom.”
The zombie lady hung her head in sadness and joined 53 in the Jury section.
“But tonight’s Trial isn’t over yet. Tonight is special. A double elimination.”
Flamingo’s eyes went wide.
“Will they be able to vote for me?” She asked Twisty, who shrugged in response.
One by one, the group was called up again to vote.
“Tato.”
“Rando.”
Rando looked confused for a moment, then shrugged it off.
“Monarch.”
Flamingo could see Monarch’s worried face.
“Tato.”
“Monarch.”
“Monarch. That’s three votes.”
Monarch was sweating.
“Monarch.”
Everyone was holding their breath.
“The final vote…”
The tension was building so quickly that no one was even blinking.
“...Monarch.”
Monarch sighed and walked to join 53 and Maggot Mom at the Jury section.
The next game involved planks of wood stretched out over the water. The planks had a keypad with four shapes on it- a star, a triangle, a circle, and a square. Each person had to repeat the shape pattern that was seen on the screen in front of them. Flamingo was the first one to lose and fall into the water, followed by Pip, Tato, and Nobody. Twisty and Rando were still going strong. Rando ended up winning the challenge.
“No, no, no, no, no, no, no.” Flamingo murmured, “I’m going to lose! People tried voting Rando out last time. Now who do they have to vote for? Me!”
“I can’t handle this stress. I just can’t. I quit.” Nobody told Jack.
Jack nodded and said, “You can wait with 53, Maggot Mom, and Monarch.”
Then Nobody began her journey to the other side of the island.
“I don’t care about stress,” Rando scoffed, “I just want my damn money.”
“Money, money, money. That’s all people care about nowadays.” Tato rolled her eyes.
After the five entered the Trial hut, Monarch, 53, Nobody, and Maggot Mom entered the hut and sat in the Jury’s spot.
“It’s time to vote.” Jack called up Flamingo first, Rando, Tato, Pip, and Twisty.
“Now I will read the votes.” He grabbed a piece of paper from the box.
“Twisty.”
“Tato.”
“Pip.”
“Tato.”
“And the last vote is for…”
“...Tato.”
Tato nodded slowly and took a seat in the Jury section.
