A Fainting Spell

Everyone please remain seated; due to an incident occurring in cabinet 054, you must stay seated until they exit through. Thank you for your cooperation and welcome back to Black Academia.

With that, the medic allowed her friends to follow behind. Eyes stared down through the windows and in the cabinet labeled 034: Diego, Ava, and Lucas all came on. "Lady and gentleman you must stay inside your cabinet" the nurse said rather rudely, "Ma'am these are her friends". With a scoff leaving her mouth they too, were allowed to follow behind.

"What happened Ash, is she ok?" Ava asked, walking by his side as Asher saw Ryker explaining what happened to the others. "Truly we have no idea; this shadow figurine entered our room. He had some spell or some power that blocked off her own though or not for long. Next thing we knew all we could see was the cloud. Once it vanished, we saw Andrea on the floor" Asher said.

With a slight shove Diego went next to Ryker and Asher, "Any physical injuries?" he asked; "None, we believe it is simply a fainting spell".

"What do you think it's such a coincidence she faints now and not later?" Lucas said, "What that figurine or shadow must've done this; she's perfectly healthy". "Yes love we understand that, but a shadow can't do this type of damage. It's a shadow, it is unable to do such harm".

"We live in Black Academia, I would assume some spell would be able to do it right?" Skylar said just next to Ava. With Lucas and Ava looking back at each other they both shook their heads, "Not any spell that we know of".

"I think the 'spell' should be the least of our worries, was the figure able to speak?" Diego asked, "Yes actually" Ryker replied, "Saying something about wanting her power, but she was born with it. How can it be taken away?". "I know a spell that can take away one's power" Ava said, "I took a course about powerful beings in the summer a few years back".

"Though it is difficult to conjure up, perhaps we used a different spell to only block; I just hope that spell didn't have any after effects" Lucas continued, "I also took the course this year".

At that moment they arrived at the clinic, even hearing the horde of children arriving at the Trickery Hall. "Now you all can stay in the waiting room while we examine Andrea. A medic will come out shortly with the updates once we get them" she said. "Thank you very much" Skylar said, and with that she went into the back area.

Everyone was sitting besides one another; within the first few minutes it was silent. Again, they were already in the clinic with Andrea's life being undetermined. The sound of silent beeping from the back room and commotion from the hall was all that was heard. Some students even looked into the clinic, attempting to notice what occurred; however, only saw the group sitting inside the waiting room.

"So" Diego spoke, breaking the silence, "There must be more information about this... shadow".

"Diego's right, no way that... thing left Andrea there in one second. I believe we aren't getting all the information we need" Lucas said, giving all of them a glare. "Lucas no need to scare them, I know I would be terrified if I witnessed it" Ava rubbed Lucas' back, "They can tell us whatever they want to/

With both Ryker and Asher looking at each other, Asher began to talk, "It was weird. It was a shadow however it was able to perform spells, dangerous spells. Despite sounding extremely creepy, the main thing he talked about was taking Andrea's power; why?, I have no idea" Ryker continued, "Isn't it obvious, her powers are one of a kind. Anyone would want to steal them to make them their own. Like a wanted criminal, but instead she is on our side; and evil wants her to be on theirs. That call I received earlier, it was the same voice but a lot darker".

"Next thing we knew the lights flickered more and a glass vase was thrown in our direction; once we both stood back up everything was back to normal; and we saw Andrea laying on the ground," they all stood speechless and befuddled, for them it made no sense, yet it was still possible.
