Chapter 13

(Y/N) groaned as she woke up. Her head and body were throbbing in pain. It felt like it was going to kill her. She skimmed around her area and noticed she was in a room, well, more of a box. Everything was padded, the floors, the ceilings, and the walls. Even the door that was in front of her.

"W-what?! Where am I?" she asked out loud as if someone was going to answer her. She got up and ran towards the door and began shaking it, but of course, it wouldn't open.

(Y/N) stood back and tried to use her sonic voice, to break open the door, but instead, she coughed harshly. (Y/N) covered her beak with her wings. When she did, there was something wet on the palms of her wings. (Y/N) slowly pulled away from her beak and saw some blood. "Shit..." she whispered, her voice shaking. She shouldn't have used her voice back there on that eagle, she wasn't finished recovering.

(Y/N) looked around for anything else and noticed her bag was in the corner of the room, it looked like a guard just tossed it in the room carelessly after looking through it. She ran to her bag and dug through it. Everything was still in there. The little bag of food and the Super String. She opened the little zipper pocket inside the bag and sighed in relief.

The phone was still there.

'Guess they didn't go through it properly.'

(Y/N) looked around the room and noticed cameras in every corner. (Y/N) didn't take the phone out of the bag. Instead, she pretended she was just looking through her bag. (Y/N) opened up her phone. There was a contacts app, she opened the app up and started to scroll through, trying to find a specific name. "Yes!" (Y/N) cheered. She clicked on the name and sent a single text.

"Hey. You done?"

(Y/N) jumped from the spot. "Silver?" she turned her attention toward the sound and noticed a TV in the room.

On the TV, there was an overview shot of Silver and Red. They were on giant pink pool floaties on a pool that was frozen over. In the room that they were in, there was a TV as well as glowing purple pineapples hanging from the ceiling and fake ice palm trees scattered in the room. The room also had a mini bar at the back and overall, the room appears to be dark, or at least, the lights were turned off. Only the glow of the pineapples kept the room dimly lit.

"What happened?!" Red exclaimed as he turned his head at Silver, he started to look around. "Where's (Y/N)!?"

Silver rolled her eyes. "Oh, let's see. Well, you got us captured and they took (Y/N), who knows where, leaving us both trapped in ice on top of giant pool toys... Good job." Silver replied sarcastically.

(Y/N) was a bit taken aback. She hasn't seen Silver act so pissy before. But they were captured, so, it's understandable.

Red looked defeated and shook his head. "I just thought that maybe if I could--"

"Stop me?" A voice off-screen interrupted, finishing Red's sentence for him. The room got suddenly brighter. The female voice continued to talk. "Yeah, you two lovebirds just thought
y'all could sail over here and stop me." A figure started to reveal herself on the screen. She was a tall purple eagle, along with white feathers from her shoulders and almost all the way down to her legs. She has long eyelashes and a long beak with a crooked end.

"Lovebirds?" Silver and (Y/N) said at the same time as they both made disgusted faces.

"No way," Silver said as she shook her head.

"No, no, no," Red added as he was shaking his head.

"We're barely, like, friend birds," Silver added as she looked at Red awkwardly.
