After Luz's peculiar dream, she finally woke up. It was afternoon. Everywhere was brimming, it was bright. Even from the looks, one could easily tell that the weather was hot.

"How was I able to sleep for that long?" She questioned herself and was still in her sleeping position.

She touched her cheek, and it felt dry. It was as if- "Did I cry?" She asked herself out loud. She did, while she was dreaming. Her dream was so depressing, so bitter.

Luz was a strong woman. No individual would have gone this far. He/she/they would have just committed suicide, the second the memory comes back to their head.

Luz's mind was blank. There was nothing to think about. She checked her phone, no single message, no phone call. She had games, but she didn't just want to play. Music? It wasn't the best time for her.

She just wanted to stay that way for some time. Even if she wanted to talk to someone, it would never work out, she just knew. She just felt it.

As her mind was as blank as paper, someone knocked on the door. She didn't hear. The person knocked again, she didn't hear. Then the person knocked again but harder. Luz snapped out of it and when she opened the door, it was Amity.

She didn't even know if she wanted to talk to Amity right now.

It was as if this moment for Luz was a lone moment, a solo moment.

Luz kept quiet and went back to the bed and sat down, as her mind went blank again. Amity sat on the bed with her and looked at her.

"Luz?" She took her hand and started to shake it, but her mind was still blank.

Luz had experienced this thing before, but it had been such a long time. Amity was scared. She started to shake her but no response. Luz was like a statue, lifeless.

Luz heard sniffing and she looked at Amity who was crying. "Amity?" Luz was becoming hesitant, not knowing what to do.

"I'm sorry Amity." Luz hugged her and after some minutes, she calmed down.

"Are you alright now?" Amity nodded.

"Thank you Luz."

...

"It's... blank?" To Michael and Detective Kendrick, this was a total bombshell.

"How could this be blank!? Our government has all the complete and accurate files of all citizens of this country and-" Kendrick shushed him.

"But how could this be blank?" He put his hand in his chin, thinking chasmic. "Do you also record criminals, as well as dead people?" Michael shook his head. "We remove the files of dead people."

"Huh. Maybe the reason that it's blank is because-"

"She either came here herself and made it blank, which is most likely impossible to do, or she made herself known dead to the government." Kendrick sighed.

"Or she's probably using one of her relatives'files and Luz Noceda isn't her real name." Michael shook his head. "It's most likely the second one you said." He agreed.

"I have no choice but to make this go to the news." Kendrick stood up and started to walk away. Michael arranged everything back and went with him.

Little did they know, that a little boy had heard everything.

"What are you going to do?" He asked the detective, who kept quiet.

"Give me the famous news network that is popular in this country. This case is going to be on that network."

...

"Do you... want to go out?" Luz asked suddenly, which even surprised Amity.

Luz started to blush and continued to talk. "Y'know, no one else. Not your siblings, not Willow or Gus, just the both of us." Amity nodded and they left the room, holding hands.

"Where exactly do you want to go?" Amity started to think.

"I know a place." Luz and Amity entered the car and Amity gave the directions.

They sang songs on the radio and talked about school. "Oh yeah, what about your exams?" Amity asked. "Oh." Luz paused.

"I totally forgot." Luz started to laugh and Amity was scared. "You forgot!?" Luz looked at her with a straight face and nodded.

"You're going to school tomorrow." Luz whined and Amity started to giggle.

She checked the time and saw it was 5:05. "Time's fast today." Luz continued to drive.

At a point, they finally stopped. They came down from the car and sat down on the floor.

The sun was setting and the weather was cool. It was like that time Luz was in the hospital and was looking outside the window.

"How do you know this place?" She questioned Amity.

"I've been here when I was young. Whenever my mother abused me because I didn't do well in my exams or didn't read or disobey her, I would run away from home and spend time here."

"I always wanted someone to comfort me here whenever I would cry. All the bad thoughts, I wanted them to go. But you're here." She held Luz's hand.

"I'm really grateful you came into my life Luz. My life was like a paper that was blank, waiting to be written on and you were the pencil. You changed my life Luz, and I'm really grateful."

Luz looked at her affectionately and looked at the sun.

"Well," she began. "I wish I also had a place like this." Luz looked at the floor and used her shoe to draw a heart on the sand.

"When I was young, I never got to go anywhere. I'm glad that I met someone like you too. You changed my life... a lot."

Luz wasn't lying this time.

All those memories of Amity and herself, she started to remember them.

Their first kiss, when Amity helped her to the hospital, everything.

She wished that those moments lasted.
But everything must come to an end.

As the sun was coming down, Luz went closer to Amity and kissed her.

This time, it was different. It was so passionate, so good that Amity fell on the floor. Luz loved her most. She was her number 1 in this world.

She would kill and be killed for Amity Blight.

It was really all for love.
