Chris' POV

I have no idea what I'm doing here. Tyler just had to bring me with him. I said no the first ten times he asked me to come to this club.

How can you refuse when your best friend threatens you that he would call your ex-gf and tell her that you're still hung up on her, especially when she is the one who broke up with you.
I was not in the party mood but I know Tyler would actually do that, he would actually call Sarah.

It has been 2 weeks since she broke up with me. She said that this just doesn't feel the same anymore. 'I'm sorry Chris' she said, turned her back to me and left without a glance at me one last time. I didn't call her. I knew it was pointless. I wasn't much serious too about her but... Well... I guess I liked her more than she liked me.

I chose this place because Sarah once mentioned it to me. God! I'm such an idiot.

I stand in the corner and wait for Tyler to get our drinks. Meanwhile, I scan the crowd. I'm single now and there's no harm in just checking a few girls out. That's what I'm telling myself at least. There's nothing new in this club, really. People working like donkeys during the week come here, at weekends, to chill. It's their way of saying, 'My job sucks'.

Girls are wearing tight short skirts because apparently their work clothes are not comfortable. Boys, well they are just being boys. I will never admit it in front of a woman but boys are literally idiots, me included. The scenario is exactly the same everywhere.

My vision stops at a girl, wearing the tightest jeans I've ever seen anyone wearing. Her white and black top seems to fit her curves perfectly. Surprisingly, she's in my range of vision, so I can see her from head to toe.

Even at this distance I can tell she's different. She's not wearing a short skirt for one and she's dancing alone. Well almost alone, because the girl with her is too slow to catch up with her speed. The other girl is okay too but this girl is kind of, I don't know, hotter.

She seems to be enjoying herself and it's not the 'My work sucks' kind of fun. It's more like, 'I'm the queen and always will be' kind of fun.

I almost forgot that I was here with Tyler. I look in the direction he went. He waves his hand and points to two empty chairs near the bar.

Most of the people are dancing so we got two empty chairs. I reach there first and sit on one chair and wait for him to bring our drinks. These drinks are on him, since he brought me here, against my will, I might add.

I look at the time in my watch. It's half past ten, yet, these people are getting more energetic with each passing second. I look back where that girl was dancing but she's not there anymore. I didn't even get to see her face clearly.

Tyler comes back with the drinks, passing through the drunk and dancing crowd. But before he gets to sit, someone rushes and sits on the chair I reserved for him.

"What the..." Me and Tyler start at the same time turning to see who took the seat.

"Whoa... Relax..." She says.

Damn! It's the same girl I was staring at seconds ago.

"That girl over there in the blue dress, is... Tasha... She wants to talk to you. But she doesn't want to come and ask first." She says to Tyler pointing to her friend, she was dancing with.

"Why don't you go and dance with her! She's kinda shy." She tells him and winks at him.

"This better not be a joke." He responds, smirking and placing the drinks in front of me. "See ya later man." He says to me and leaves.
