BIRTHDAY GIFT

SIMON POV 6

"Your love for sunrise and nature never dies, right?" I asked standing behind her. But as hot as she is , she didn't even turn toward me, "Yeah! But your love for me increased since engagement?" she asked with sarcasm dripping in her voice. It's true though, I didn't see her for ten years but my love for her only increased to a multitude that I can't even think of any other girl near me. "I will accept that! What about you then?" I asked standing beside her. But she didn't even answer my questions. She does what she thinks is right, that's the main reason I cant move on from her and I never tried to move on, because I don't want to. Instead she was worrying about me.

"Why are you here? You look tired!" she asked turning toward me. Her eyes are full of concern, love, and care. That innocent face of hers. Her heart-shaped lips, I'm eager what those heart-shaped lips can do. Stop it!

I laughed in a low tone, moving close to her I asked, "Are you worried about me angel?". Like something sharp pricked her foot she stepped away and turned towards the sea. "I'm also a doctor, shouldn't I be worried about other doctors' health".  Of course, she worries about everyone about her. But this worry was a bag of lies because her face says something else. Her face was so red like all her blood was raised to her cheeks. It was prettier than the sunrise.

I closed the gap between us, her soft, smooth and unblemished face between my hands studying each detail of her face, her dark orbs and the wordless talk she is speaking through her eyes and the shield she is been holding up for years is coming down slowly. Still it will be hard for me to make her open up. But I don't want to spoil this moment. "I was waiting for this whole moment for ten years" i said stroking her cheeks. i can feel her shudder and close her eyes losing herself in my hand. Its happy to see her relax. 

"Waiting for what?"it came out more than a whisper. "This..." saying I placed my lips over hers taking in her every part. My first kiss was saved for this day, for my Angel's birthday. I'm fervidly having her lips between mine but this girl was spaced out, I don't know where but that triggered me bad, so I pulled her bottom lip between my teeth bringing back her to reality. What possessed her i don't know but she kissed me back with same passion and locked her hands around my neck. Taking this as a sign, I pulled her closer and trusted my tongue inside her mouth. We both were fighting for dominance, she is not a easy girl who gives up so easily. This makes me go into a different kind of high. But before anything started she pushed me and broke the kiss, but still she is in my arms firmly, our bodies still touching. She was breathing so hard. I think her oxygen supply was cut off because of me. 

"Atleast you should have made me aware?" she asked me still catching her breath. "Surprises shouldn't come informed" I said giving her a half grin but the pout she gave made me go crazy. I'm longing for her more than she could imagine. I know its not the time for this desire. Our eyes talked more than our mouth. If I still stand like this seeing her, I don't know if I will be able to control myself further.

"Let's head to the shrine and we will go see Richie" saying this I hold her hands like my dear life. As If I leave her, she will fly away from me.

I led her to the shrine and felt her relax when we entered. She pecked the back of my hands and thanked me. I don't know the reason, so I asked her what she thanked me for. Her reply was simple and single. "Everything" saying she gave me a million dollar smile.

I can't stop myself from pinching her but it's not the place. So, I gave her a wink and pulled to sit on one of shrine pews.

It's going to be an hour we sat here. Without any noise from the outer world just only our breathing sounds and sound of the waves.

I know what will she be praying. She would have prayed for Richie, mom, dad and her family's well being. Not for herself. I can pray for her, she is my everything gifted by God for me. No one can replace her in my life. I don't know what good I did to deserve this angel sitting by my side.

We came out of the shrine and standing there for minutes. She was not able to look at my eyes but I can't take my eyes off her. It only lingers on her.

"Happy Birthday Angel" I wished  kissing her forehead.

She just thanked me not even a return kiss, this girl need to learn manners. If her husband gives her kiss she should know to return that. Since, it's her birthday I will excuse her but I will remember this to punish her afterwards.

"Drive safe and we will meet in the hospital" I said bending toward her leaning on the car window.

She nodded and started the engine. But before she took off she kissed my cheeks,  whispering "I'll be waiting there" making my mouth to open.

What did I just receive? WOW this girl is full of surprises. It's going to be like quest each day spending my life with her.

Then should I initiate the plan I have been planning. I took out my phone and called Seph Dad, "Hello Uncle! Can we talk? You and aunt can I meet you immediately"

His voice panicked,"What's wrong Simon?"

"Uncle it's nothing I need to speak to you and aunt about Sephora" i assured him.

"Is it. Sure. But can't we talk like this. Because I think it will take some time for me and your aunt to reach the hospital" he replied calm, but i can hear the pain in his voice. It's my fault, I should have told him clearly.

"Then we can have a video conference uncle. You, aunt, Richie and others. It's important. I want Sephora's family to know about this before her"

"Do it" he said immediately and now we are in video conference. Sephora's mom, dad, Richie, her elder brothers, her uncles and aunt. I know they were watching me curiously. So, I didn't want to waste their time any further and so I baked the pot.

"I'm going to do a marriage proposal at the hospital, since we're already engaged I want to bright up everyone's mood...so what do you think uncle and aunty" I said confidently.

Richie jumped from his side, "What is the plan, brother?"

Everyone started laughing. That's when I left my breath which I seem to hold for  minutes by now.

"When should we come Simon?" Aunt asked me with hope engulfing in her voice.

"Aunt she will come from the shrine now. You and uncle, tell her to go to the hospital first, and you both will follow suit".

She has some plans to do, so if my guess is right aunt and uncle can come before she reach here.

The plan is ON then.

"Then I'll take my leave, thank you for hearing me everyone though" I thanked them bowing a little. Because not everyone get to marry the girl they love and get a beautiful family as a bonus prize. And this girl is going to give me both..herself and her family.

I dialed Duke to go ahead with the plan I had. I don't know what her reaction will be, but I know she will be a bit happy. Hoping for the best is the only thing I can do now.
