I woke up at dawn. My mind was still half asleep when I slowly sat up and saw a few bags and boxes at the end of my bed. That was the moment I realized everything that happened yesterday wasn't a bad dream. I stood up with a loud sigh and walked towards the boxes.
At closer inspection I realized that the boxes were filled with stuff from my old room.
I started to unpack everything. With every single thing that I put away I started missing my sibling and home more.
I stopped with what I was doing when I held a teddy bear in my hands.
A sad smile slowly started forming on my lips while I sat down on the floor while leaning on my bed.
"Hey little guy. Long-time no see. I guess we are both separated from our sibling now." I didn't know why I was talking like I would get a response from it. But it was the only thing that made me feel close to my sibling.
Rose and me had the same ones just in a different colour.
I had a black bear with white ears. Rose had a white one with black ears. Our mom made them for us when we were little kids. She said so we always have a piece of the other.
I wasn't sure how all of this stuff got here but I was sure it was Alastors doing. The man had something unnatural about his person but I couldn't say what it was.
Maybe it was the green colour of his eyes. The colour of them were so bright I could see them in a room without much light shining at me. They mesmerised me. But at the same time, they scared me. They looked so welcoming but also like the person that carried them could kill me any second.
I tried to stop thinking about Alastor. So, I let myself fall backwards onto my bed and closed my eyes. But that moment of piece where my mind wasn't racing didn't last long.
The next thing I knew I was pulled in someone's arms. When I opened my eyes, Alastor was looking at me with a sweet smile.
When he looks at me like that, I could nearly forget that I am his prisoner. I quickly shock my head a bit so I could get rid of the thought. Alastor somehow didn't notice or chose to ignore it.
"How did you sleep darling? By the way you look so cute right now!" Alastors voice sounded deeper than before it sounded like he just woke up.
I didn't even answer him. I didn't have enough energy to do so.
"You must be really tired still. But you have to get up. Dinner is ready or rather breakfast for you." He was now smirking.
I wished I could just punch that smirk of Alastors face. But I decided against it. Because I didn't know what he was capable of.
So, I just stood up when Alastor finally let me out of his grip. While I was face away from him, I could feel him staring holes in my back.
What is his damm problem!?
Alastor took my hand and dragged me through the same corridors he carried me through the night before. I could see the moon through one of the giant windows.
He pulled me into a rather big room. In the middle was a long table. The room was decorated in the same style as the room I found Alastor in. This time it was not a study/music room but a dining hall.
He sat me down on a chair at the end of the table and then sat a plate Infront of me.
"I hope you enjoy it. I didn't really know what you liked." For a second, I thought I saw something like embarrassment on Alastors face while he talked but as soon as I looked up from my plate again, he had that shit eating grin on his face again.
