Chapter 2:Senior Year

Rose's POV

Today my parents told me the most amazing news ever.I am actually going to a real school for the first time ever.I have been begging my parents this for the longest time and they would always refuse saying that it is too dangerous for me.They always said that they were worried that I would get hurt and they wouldn't be there to help me.But I am not a baby anymore.I am a big girl and I want to do big girl stuff.

Now imagine how surprised I was when my parents told me today at breakfast that I would be starting my senior year at a real school and that I don't need to be homeschooled anymore.I was so happy cause my parents are very strict and once they have made up their minds about something,it is close to impossible to get them to change their minds.

I am still asking myself why they suddenly changed their minds,but whatever or whoever it is that did.I am glad that they were able to because I don't think I have ever been so happy in my life.

"Mommy,daddy can we please go to the mall now?",I ask them using my puppy dog eyes knowing that they can't resist them."fine baby.But we are coming straight home after we found everything you will need tomorrow at school.",my dad answers me while standing up from the couch.

"Let's go wait for your dad in the car",my mom says while holding my hand leading me to daddy's car.We get in the car and I sit in the backseat so my mom sits in the passenger seat then we wait for dad to get in the car to take us to the mall.

The drive to the mall is not a long one as it only took 15 minutes to get there.My dad parked his car in the parking lot at the mall then we all got out of the car and went inside the mall.We went to different shops looking for all the things I needed for school,like books,pencils,pens,calculator,etc.

I asked mom to buy me some clothes cause I never went to buy clothes for myself.I went with my mom to Walmart and other shops buying some cute clothes for myself then we went straight home after paying to the cashier and meeting dad in the car.

By the time we got home it was time for mom to cook some food for dinner so I decided to go to my room to prepare for school tomorrow,I chose an outfit for tomorrow then put all the things I think I will need at school tomorrow for class in my cute baby pink bag.

I looked at the time then realized that I still have some time before dinner so I went to take a shower and put my cute fluffy PJ set.It was a short and short sleeved shirt."Rose,dinner is ready!",I heard my mom yell."Coming mommy",I said running down the stairs to the dining room and found mom and dad already sitting waiting for me to come and eat.

We say grace and eat our dinner in comfortable silence.I gathered my plate as I was done eating before them and put them at the sink then went to my room.I went straight to the bathroom in  my room to brush my teeth then went to sleep happy that I am going to school tomorrow morning

I was woken up by the sound of my alarm clock telling me it was time to get out of bed.I put on my slippers after stretching myself and getting out of bed then did my bed.After all that I went in the bathroom to do my morning routine and wearing my pink skirt that reached mid thigh with a white long sleeve shirt and my pink and rose gold butterfly necklaces,my knee high white socks and pink Nike Jordan sneakers.I put my hair in a high pony tail then put my natural makeup.I took my bag then went down to the kitchen.

"Morning mommy,where is daddy?",I ask mom sitting down seeing that dad is not sitting at his usual spot when we have breakfast."Oh morning baby,your dad had to go to work early today so I will be the one driving you to school today.I will also be picking you up.",my mom says while giving me my breakfast which consist of some French toast with some eggs,bacon and apple juice.I nod while eating.

When I was done eating i went to wait for mom in the car so that she could take me to school.

On my way to school,I tried making sure that I memorize the way so that I don't get lost if mom and dad won't be able to pick me up from school and I will have to walk home.

It was a short drive to school.There were so many people out there."Baby,you have to go to the front office to ask for your schedule and locker number and a school map then you go straight to class okay baby?",I nod then get out of the car,"okay mommy,bye,I love you."

"I love you too honey",she says then drive out of school.I get inside the school then go to the front office."Hello,can I get my schedule please",the lady at the desk looks at me before smiling."And who might you be little lady."

"My name is Rose Knight.I am new here.",I tell her with a huge smile on my face.She nods then types on the computer.She then hands me my schedule"Welcome to Mystic High.",she tells me smiling."Wait here a moment so that I can get some to give you a tour for our school."

I nod smiling and wait for about 2 minutes.She comes back with a blonde girl with striking blue eyes,tall and has an hour glass figure wearing a blue dress,with a warm smile on her face.

"Hi,I am Isabelle Matthews and I will be your tour guide for today.I wish we will be great friends after this."She says in one breath looking excited to meet me.

"Okay,bye miss,have a great day."I tell the lady."Thank you my dear."she says waving at me.

I just know that this will be the best senior year ever.
