Chapter 3:Meeting

Rose's POV

It has been a week since I have started going to school and it has been great but I have a lot of school work to do.I have been spending my days at school with Isa as we have most of our classes together.We have grown close now.

I have also made other friends,they are Isa's friends,Maddy,Alexa but I call her Lexa,Jacob who I have found out to be Isa's boyfriend,and Jesse,but she doesn't spend much of her time with us as she is such a delinquent.

But my week has been great,I have to be home at 5:30pm everyday because I have asked my parents if I could spend time in the library every after school and surprisingly they agreed.

At the moment I am in my third period and Isa is sitting beside me trying to talk to me about going to the mall with them on Saturday."Isa,I said I will answer you after class.You are distracting me now",I say pouting.

"Okay,I'm sorry cutie."she says then lets me focus in class.

The bell rings signaling that the class is over."Remember that you have homework on page 43 of your textbooks and I want it first thing tomorrow morning.",Mr Samuels our Accounting teacher tells us.

Some groan not liking the idea while some just ignore him and get out of class."Come on cutie.Please say your coming with us on Saturday.It will be fun I promise."Isa says pouting,she looks so cute doing that.

"Fine,but I have to ask my parents first so I will answer tomorrow okay.Now let's go to our next class.",I say grabbing her hand and heading to our next class which is English.Our English teacher is very strict and I am scared of her so I don't want to get to class late.

"I don't want to be late Isa.Hurry up please.",I tell her pouting and stomping my legs like a little kid.She laughs at me softly then says,"okay,okay,come on.We don't want to get detention now do we?"

Luckily we make in to class just in time

Alexander's POV

It has been a week since I have found out what the Russians did and I still haven't found a lead,honestly this is pissing me off.I also just found out that someone has been stealing some of the money that I make in my legal business and I don't know who it is.This is just adding me even more stress.

I hate people who steal.They get on my fucking nerves and they make me lose control.Right now I am in my office doing some paperwork when my assistant Sarah comes in."Sir,you have dinner with Mr Knight and his family in an hour at his house then you are free for the day."

"Thank you Sarah,you may go home now as I don't have anything else to do after the meeting.See you tomorrow."I tell her."Yes sir.Thank you sir.Have a nice day."

Sarah has been my assistant for 5 years now since that last assistant I had decided to try and seduce me. Sarah is very good at her job.She does not throw herself at me like other women do and I take her as my little sister as I am an only child to my parents.

She is 23 years old now and she has been working for me since she was 18 years old.She has a fiance and they have been together for 7 years since they got together in freshman year.She loves him very much and I am sure that she won't cheat on him but if he does anything to hurt her,I will personally kill him.

I look at the time and notice that I have 45 minutes left before the dinner so I decide that I should just head there now just to be on time as his house is a bit far from my company.

I get in the car then tell the driver where to take me and try to relax.

Rose's POV

I was in a hurry to go home as I didn't notice how long it has been since I have been in the library reading some romance novels.I was supposed to be at home by 5:30pm and it is already 6pm,I will be in so much trouble.

As I was running,I didn't notice the car until it was too late for me to move.Luckily the driver was able to swerve the car quickly before any damage was made.

The car stopped and a Greek God came out.He was wearing a navy blue suit with a white shirt,he left the first three buttons open and you could see his chest a bit.His suit fit him perfectly and was showing his broad shoulders.His black hair was gelled back,his sharp jaw and well defined face,thick eyebrows and his eyes,

His eyes were like nothing I have ever seen,as I was checking him out,he came to me,"Hey bambina,are you okay?does it hurt anywhere?"he asked me.

I tilted my head a little,"no sir,I'm perfectly fine,see."I tell him while smiling and turning around so he could see.

"Baby,next time when you pass,look out for cars,we don't want anything to happen to you right?"

I nod and thank him."What's your name baby?"he asks me looking me in my eyes."Rose Knight.What's your name sir?"I ask him.He smiles at me,"Alexander King bambino."

"Your pretty",I say smiling then remember why I was in a rush in the first place
"Bye Xander,I have to go home,I'm late."
I say running home.

I get home and apologize to my parents."We will talk about that later,now go take a shower and get ready,we have an important guest coming for dinner.",my mom says while setting the table.

I just nod not knowing what to say then go to my room to get ready,took a short shower then put on a very beautiful flowery dress and wore some nude heals,put on some light natural makeup and put my hair in a high ponytail.

I hear the doorbell ring."Rose,can you answer the door for ne honey.",my mom yells."Okay mom."I say while heading to the door.And nothing could have prepared me for when I saw who the important guest that was having dinner with us that my mom told me about.
