Dyrroth's POV

I laid onto my bed, a thick blanket almost covering most of my body and I wore pajamas underneath. There's a wet-warm towel on my forehead, yes I know what you're thinking. Im currently sick at the moment.

I didnt even know how the hell did this happen, but Alice told me yesterday, it's because I didnt cover myself whilst it was pouring outside. I sighed as I stared at the ceiling, my half-lidded eyes was starting to get hurt, I was supposed to sleep a while ago but my eyes wouldn't even close. How infuriating.

A while ago, Alice was trying to make me take my medicine, but I refuse because medicines tastes like shit and its horribly disgusting. Thinking about it now I shivered in disgust, the smell of the purple-ish pill is fusty 'yuck!'.

Author's POV

Alice sat across Thamuz, currently they are discussing to what will they do to Dyrroth. The handsome (😏) prince was entirely refusing to drink his medicine which made Alice to stress. Thamuz could only listen to whatever Alice is saying.. but then an idea popped on Thamuz's head (ding! 💡!) "Alright... Alright.. that's enough, I have an idea"

Alice paused to look at Thamuz "dont go asking now, you'll see later. This idea will surely make him drink that medicine of his" Thamuz stood up leaving her office room. Alice watch as the door close behind before plopping herself on her chair facepalming "this better work, Dyrroth needs to attend the upcoming meetings ahead"

She stood up from her chair before heading to the door. She roamed around the castle looking for Thamuz, but she was stopped by a tap on her left shoulder "Alice?" She turned behind seeing none other than the goddess herself, Selena. She smiled at the older lady "Thamuz is currently in the living room" she smiled at her.

Climbing down the stairs, as they were nearing the last steps Alice's eyes starts to widen. There she saw none other than the princess of the Crisal kingdom in front of her view who was conversing with Thamuz. As they heard footsteps approaching them Thamuz whipped his head to Alice "Alice.. this is Y/N the princess of the Crisal kingdom" Y/N smiled softly at the named 'Alice'.

Selena waved his hand to the princess and was replied with a smiling face. Alice was bewildered from the current situation "Oh hello Princess Y/N, it's a pleasure to meet you" Y/N smiled in return "you aswell Miss Alice" Alice shook her hands "sweetheart drop the formalities" Y/N stared "oh okay Alice"

Currently walking towards the prince's room, both Selena and Y/N walked ahead, Thamuz and Alice were behind them. Alice looked at Y/N then to Thamuz "May I ask?" Thamuz nodded "Why is she here?" Thamuz quietly chuckled "this may anger you... She's Dyrroth's girlfriend" Alice paused making Thamuz to stop aswell "he.. kept it from me?!" Both Y/N and Selena stopped from their tracks and turned behind.

Alice grabbed his shoulders "how could he?" Thamuz sighed "he knew once he'll tell you about his liking towards her, you might ruin his confession" Alice let go putting her palm onto her chest and the back of her hand on her forehead "I cant believe this!" She says dramatically making Thamuz to shake his head "Is something wrong Alice?" Alice looked away shaking her other hand in front of the younger female.

Thamuz went up ahead "let's go" Alice chuckled "dont worry about it sweetheart, it was nothing I was just really upset that Dyrroth never said anything about you to me" Y/N flashed her a smiled...

Alice together with Thamuz and a few maids came towards Dyrroth's room again. One of the maids were bringing a tray that contains his medicine. They heard the prince groan "ughh.. not this again" he complained looking away from the group "Dyrroth, you need to drink this as soon as possible" Alice tried confronting him "please dear.."

The prince was still laying on his bed, half of his body was now covered with his thick blanket, a towel on his forehead and his arm placed on his eyes "I dont wanna.." he says, his face was covered with crimson hue and his chest was heaving up and down "i dont want to.." Alice sighed... She looked at Y/N, she signalled the maid to give Y/N the tray before they left Y/N alone with Dyrroth. Y/N smiled as she saw them peeking through the door "Alice please I-"

"Dyrroth.." hearing an angel-like voice, he widened his eyes underneath his arm. He slowly removed his arm looking at his beloved in front of him "Y-Y/N?" Y/N giggled before sitting beside Dyrroth. He slowly sat up rubbing his eyes "what are you doing here?" His faint voice made her heart soft "I heard that you were having a fever, why? Cant I come here?" Dyrroth shook his head, his crimson cheeks was showing "I didnt mean it like that."

Y/N smiled before leaning in to kiss his right cheek "you're adorable" she placed the tray beside his bed and grabbed the purple pill and the glass of water "now love drink your medicine" Dyrroth gazes at the pill "I heard that you were quite stubborn about drinking your medicine" he couldn't refuse "if you drink it, I'll stay here and be with your side until you get better" Dyrroth took the pill from her finger and the glass "will you cuddle with me later after I drink this?" She nodded.

Alice's eyes widened, Thamuz and Selena had a smug look on their faces. They looked away from the scene to let the young love birds to enjoy themselves. Alice was still dumfounded "well, I guess that settles it" Thamuz says "He's so soft towards her" Alice mumbled, Selena chuckled "he is" the two began walking away dragging a blank-faced Alice with them.

Dyrroth put the glass back at the tray, Y/N smiled "good job! Love im so proud of you" she places both her palms in between his face "I love you" Dyrroth smiled "i love you too" his raspy voice replied back. Y/N shifted herself beside the male...

"Now let's cuddle as I promised!"

✾ hello peeps I am back! Starting the series with a Dyrroth oneshot my beloved!! I personally love this, probably going to be my favorite oneshot in this book! 💞
