"Can I get a number ten with a large Coke and barbecue sauce, a number three with Dr. Pepper and-"

I turned from the McDonald's drive thru speaker to Jasmine, "What do you want?"

She looked up from her phone, "Mighty Kids Meal with Chicken Nuggets and Apples for a girl."

I rolled my eyes at her childishness, repeating the order to the lady. There was a pause before the loud static voice came back through, telling me my total. I pulled away from the speaker and into the line, looking back at my sister who was lying in the back seat, Josh next to me in the passenger.

"You're such a child sometimes, Jas." She only smiled at me cheekily.

Josh pulled out a ten, handing it to me but I declined. "Nah, I got you, pros of rich guardians, lots of moolah."

"Fine, but I'm paying next time." He said putting it back in his wallet.

I nodded. "I'll hold you to that, Mr."

15 minutes later I was back in my room, eating alone and listening to music. I had dropped Josh and Jasmine off at Josh's house and came home to my own empty one. My uncle was at work and my aunt and cousin were at a birthday party. It was around five, and all my friends were busy. Stiles and Malia went out to dinner with Stiles' dad, Scott's setting up for his and Kira's date, Liam is with Mason, I never know where Derek is, and Lydia's not answering her phone. So I was alone, sitting by myself, relaxing.

I wasn't lonely; no I was basking in this. I haven't gotten to relax in weeks, I'm gonna enjoy this. Well, until my phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Hey, gorgeous."

I smiled at the sound of Jordan's voice. "Hey, handsome."

"What're you doing right now?"

"Sitting at home by myself like the loser I am." (A/N: Me everyday, comment if it's you too.)

"Not anymore you aren't. How do you feel about going on our first official date?"

Relaxing can wait.

"My leg snapped in two, I had a cast of for months."

I laughed loudly, tightening both my grip on Jordan's hand and my drink. Jordan had taken me to a town about 45 minutes away from Beacon Hills, where no one would be able to identify us. We were on a boardwalk currently, digesting our meal and walking down the long pier. I had on a dark blue sundress with a tan belt, and tan sandals to match. My light blue bikini was on underneath of it.

We took a seat on a bench and when my laughter died down I hummed to myself, closing my eyes and tilting my head up towards the sun. "This is nice, doing this makes me feel normal, you know? Not some supernatural that can't decide if she's a demon or an angel. I can actually relax and not worry about being killed every 5 minutes."

He huffed a laugh, kissing my forehead slightly. "Well, you know what they, normal's boring. I mean, yes, I could do without you being under a death threat every day, but besides that, I wouldn't change you for anything."

I smiled, looking over at him and kissing him. "How are you so nice?"

"You deserve the nicest."

"Yeah, well, considering my former boyfriends ended in disaster, I can settle for average niceness. Yet you're all around... above average."

He laughed again, mocking me. "Above average."
