Alex pov

I slowly opened my eyes to a dim lighted room i rubbed my eyes and looked around and saw Cade asleep beside me and across the room was the cheerleader asleep her face was bruised and red her cheeks were puffy and her nose was crocked i rolled onto my side and watched Cade sleep his cheeks were a soft pink i reached out and ran my hand over his hair with my knuckles his eyes opened and i pulled back my hand quickly he looked up and smiled

"You want to stay in here or go to class " he looked at the clock " or we can stay in here for another ten minutes "

"I'm gonna stay here with you"

That made his cheeks go slightly pink as he smiled i felt my lip it was split open on the left side of my bottom lip he watched me carefully

"so what happened"

"well when i was with her in the hall on my first day she said for me to stay away from you and when she saw you with me in my car she got angry and tried to hit me so i swung back at he it went down hill from there" i said quietly avoiding his eyes

"at least you showed her who the better man was " he said looking across the room at Telula

We sat in silence for a while he stood up and put the chair under the desk he had pulled it from then came back and stood beside the bed and i sat up and swung my legs over the side of the bed and patted the bed beside me and he came over but didn't sit with me he pulled me close and kissed me softly on the lips it sent shivers up my spine i heard a moan from across the room and pulled away from cade to see the cheerleader sitting up when she saw me in his arms she grew angry and stood up and tried to come over but Cade stopped her and grabbed her arms gently

" sit down you need to rest " he said calmly

"no I don't I need to get her she did this to me I'm going to get her for what she did " she yelled

I stood up  and turned to leave I grabbed my bag and pulled out my hoodie I had packed and pulled it on and flipped my hood up and walked over to the door as soon as I grabbed the door handle Cade called out to me

"where are you going"

" to class "

" wait up for me then "he said

I waited as he picked up his bag and came over we went out in to the hall and walked slowly to our next class

"what you got " I asked

"history unfortunately...you" he said with a pout

"English " I said "Kayla's probably wondering where I am " I smiled

we stopped as we came to cades class he smiled and reached for the door handle then his hand retreated as he turned back to me and pulled me close and kissed me then turned back to the door with a smile

"love you "

I laughed with a smile and watched him close the door behind him and I took a deep breath then turned on my heal, then slowly made my way to English once I opened the door everyone stared at me  I knew that I must look horrible I quietly walked to my desk next to Kayla she waited till i dumped my bag on the floor and sat down

"what happened to you " she asked
