The next day

when my alarm went off in the morning I threw it at my wall and it turned off I got up and pulled on a fresh pair of black skinny jeans and a blue shirt when I got up I was hungry I hadn't had any dinner last night so I pulled out the big box of cornflakes and shovelled them in my mouth as I  got ready for school then grabbed my keys and bag and went to the door  when I opened the door I saw a bouquet of roses and a card that was weather beaten from the rain I picked them up and went to my car and opened the door and got in I opened the little blue envelope and opened it

 I'm sorry for the other night I didn't realise how much I hurt you I couldn't help myself I truly want to make it up to you some how I cant say this any more plainly but I like you if you want me then meet me tomorrow at Starbucks the one on green avenue before school

I blinked at the card I put it on the seat next to me and drove to Starbucks. when I went in I couldn't see Cade so I went in and sat on one of the plush couches in the corner i waited with a coffee in my hands and watched the door i had waited 15 minutes when i saw him the look of self doubt on his face when he looked up and saw me he was shocked he came over he wore a smirk on his face and wore his blue jeans and a navy blue jersey his hands lodged in his pockets i looked down away from him in to my coffee and watched the froth swirl around in my cup he came and sat quietly across from me

" i didn't think you would turn up " he said quietly

I took a deep breath " well i guess i am here now and why did you ask me to come here why not at school "

" i didn't want any one to come along and interrupt us" he smiled and met my eyes

" i read the card...and...i like you too" i said shyly

His face lit up " really"

"yea" i said quietly

"well the do you think you could give me a ride to school " he ran his fingers through his hair

" i guess "

" we should probably go before we are late we have ten minutes "

I finished up my coffee and we went to my car and got in i went to start it up and i felt Cade watching me i looked back at him and he smiled his cheeks were a little pink i pulled out of the car park and pulled out on to the road it was very quiet driving he started going through his bag and frowned

"shit" he said loudly

" what"

"can we quickly zip back to mine i forgot my English papers i can drive if you want "

"Yea we can it will probably be easier for you to drive you know where your going"

He laughed as i pulled over to get out and let him drive i sat in the passenger seat and watched him carefully manoeuvre the car back on to the road we went on to a back street and he sped down it then pulled it around the corner in a tight arc i held on to my seat and actually smiled i heard him laugh at me and he kept gliding around the corners and speeding through the streets when we finally stopped we were in front of a large brick house with glazed windows he turned the car off and looked at me and saw my face and laughed

" sorry i kinda made a habit of doing that u want to come in " he said

"yea"

" i have a husky she's friendly wont bite but she is very ah...playful "
