Anne Boonchuy, a hero

It's been a week since my family moved. It's been 2 weeks since Andrias's invasion. 2 weeks since Anne died. 2 weeks since Anne sacrificed her life for all of Amphibia. Nobody knows what happened in California 2 weeks ago. Nobody knows what happened in Amphibia 2 weeks ago.

Tomorrow I go to my new school. It's going to be hard but, I know I can do it. For Anne.

-the next day-

My eyes flutter open as I hear my alarm. I turn to look at it. It's just sitting there, beeping. I turn it off and get up. School starts in an hour. As I brush my hair I stare at myself. I take a long look only to realize there's something missing. My hair clip. I could never forget it.

As I walk to my new school I realize that I won't see Anne or Sasha anymore. Nothing will ever be the same because I was being selfish. I'm a monster.

I sit down in a seat when the teacher starts talking. "Today you will be writing about a hero in the world. It can be anyone who has made a difference in the world." My mind immediately drifts to Anne. She's a hero who died to save a whole world. A paper is set on my desk. On the top it says "Hero". A second later a newspaper lands on my desk. "You will also be using a newspaper to find a hero. And yes you can trade them out. Now let's get to work!" I open up the newspaper and see a headline "Girl saves LA." There's only 5 sentences. Nobody wants to know what happened..

"Ok we will take turns reading our essays aloud! Marcy your up first." I grab my paper and walk up to the front.

"My essay is about Anne Boonchuy. I knew her since we were little kids." A girl raises her hand. "So like, is she actually a hero or did she just make it in the newspaper for being friends with a dork!" Everyone laughs at the joke.

"Continue Marcy." The teacher says. "Anne had saved a whole planet and LA all in one day. I don't know if any of you guys know about what happened in LA 2 weeks ago. LA was invaded by the king of Amphibia." Another kid raises their hand. "How is any of this real? Does anyone in this class believe this dork?" Everyone murmurs.

"Yes this is real." I answer trying to quickly get back on topic. "After defeating the king my friend Sasha, Anne, and I go back to Amphibia through the portal-"

"Marcy is this even real?" The teacher interrupts me. "Yes this is ma'am." I continue on about how we all got powers and then Anne sacrificed herself for Amphibia. "And thats how Anne Boonchuy saved a world. Any questions?" Two kids raise their hands.

"So Anne saved a planet nobody knows about except you and that one girl?" The kid questions. "Actually the government knows about it to and are looking into it."

"So Anne died?" The question makes me hesitate. "Yes, she died when she exploded the moon." A kid raises their hand.

"Is this seriously real? I mean powers, portal, invasion, another world!? You cant be serious."

Then it hit me, nobody really knows about Anne Boonchuy.
