<Prisoner with white hair POV>
Today is no different than any other day... At least, that's what I thought. I sat in my corner with my knees tucked to my chest. BANG I heard the sound of something crashing above me. I looked up and heard a voice, I couldn't understand the words that the voice was saying but the voice sounded raspy and high.
I've never heard that voice before...
There was a voice I did recognize. The captains voice.
"I'll kill every last person on this ship if you take that girl!"
That girl... He must have been talking about me. I was the only female on board.
"You can handle this right Luffy?" asked a deep male voice. "I'll try and find the girl." I wanted to scream out that I was down here but all that came out was a tiny whisper. My voice had long since gone away.
He'll never find you. This place is hidden, you may as well give up.
Tears made their way down my cheeks. I stayed there in my corner crying like a little kid. I wish I had someone with me...
<flashback>
When I was a little girl I have a distinct memory of a little boy who was my age. I don't remember his real name but my nickname for him was Roro. That boy saved me more times than I can remember, for some reason I can't remember what that boy looked like...
One day a group of the neighborhood boys decided to play a mean prank on me. I was an easy target, I was small, frail, and naive. Kids often liked to pick on me just because I was there.
"Look who it is. Don't you think you should be at home? Shut-in freak." mocked a boy. It was true, I was a shut-in. I barely went outside though now I regret not going outside.
"go away..." I said in a small voice
"What was that? Sorry I couldn't hear you." mocked the boy again
"go away." I said in a more confident voice
"What?"
"Go away!" I yelled. The boy looked mad now
"Who do you think you are yelling at me?!" he yelled while throwing a rock at me, "Go back inside freak!" I didn't move or try to dodge the rock. I stood there while the rock hit me in the stomach making me fall on my knees, clutching my stomach.
"Leave her alone!" yelled another little boy. I don't quite remember what he looked like but it had something to do with the color green, moss green.
I looked up to see my savior. I cried his name.
"Oh crap it's that guy!" yelled the boy who had thrown the rock. He and two other boys who had shown up ran away instantly.
"You okay?" he asked while helping me to my feet. Tears filled my eyes, before I knew it, I had become a sobbing mess. "H-hey why are you crying?" he asked, sounding flustered. I wiped away my tears that were replaced with new tears.
"T-thank you f-for saving me." I told him between sobs
"It's no big deal, really." insisted the boy. "I'm just glad your okay."
<flashback end>
Thinking back on it that boy was my first crush...
More than anything, right now I wish he was with me, telling me that everything was going to be okay and that he was glad I was safe.
but your not, you never will be. Your fate has been sealed. said my inner voice
"No..." I muttered
what was that?!
"No..." I muttered again. I will be saved, the man is looking for me, all I have to do is let him know I'm here. Screaming isn't going to work. I can barely manage a whisper as it is.
you could use your strength
Strength? I barely have any left, but maybe, just maybe, it could be enough. If I could muster up enough energy I could bang on the walls to make a noise, it might be enough to get his attention.
I clenched my hand into a fist.
Your body is like a twig now. If you go through with this you'll be pretty badly damaged.
"I don't care." I told my inner voice while punching the wall as hard as I could. I yelped in pain.
"Is someone there?!" called the same male voice that I had heard earlier. My face lit up with a smile, he sounded close to where I was. While wincing I punched the wall again, making another loud noise. Red was started to come out of my knuckles but I didn't care. I yelped again from the pain.
I heard foot steps coming my way. I gave the wall one more hard punch, this time I heard a SNAP coming from my arm. With that, I fell to the ground, out of energy.
Maybe he gave up looking...
There was no door to where I was locked up, even if he did find out where I was, he would have to have an insane amount of strength to get me out.
"Hey! Is anybody in there?!" the man said. He sounded right above where I was. My eyes widened in surprise. I needed to make some noise.
"Y-yes, I-I'm here." I said in barely a whisper. He couldn't hear me. This wasn't going to work. "I-I'm here." I said a bit louder. Still not loud enough.
"Dang it, not here either." he said. I started to panic. This was my one and only chance to leave this place. I can't blow it now. I heard his footsteps starting to go away from where I was.
No no no no no! Please don't leave yet! I just need to scream, that should be enough. Just a scream. I mustered up and left energy that was left in my body, and I let out a loud scream,
"I'M HERE!"
