"Finally! Some equipment I can work with!" Tej said excitedly, walking towards the computers. Everyone had arrived in London about two hours ago, and we had just finished getting settled in. "This is way better than that trash in Rio."

"Way better." Giselle agreed, cocking one of the guns on the table in front of her. Brian was next to her, inspecting some of the guns as well. I felt the corner of my lip turn upward into a small smile as Brian's bright blue eyes met mine.

"Has anyone heard from Leon or Santos?" Brian asked, looking around the room for an answer, referring to Tego and Rico.

"Last time I heard anybody saw them, they were hitting up casinos in Monte Carlo." Han answered, tossing a chip in his mouth.

"I thought that was our last job, Brian. Who's paying for all this equipment, the tax payers? So now we work for the hulk? That's what we doin'?" Rome rambled on and on, impersonating Hobbs, who was walking towards us, though Rome couldn't tell since he was facing the other way. Rome sniffed a few times, before a look of confusion flashed on his face. "Why do I smell baby oil?"

"You keep runnin' your pie hole, you're going to smell an ass kickin'." Hobbs warned, finally reaching us. He wasn't alone. There was another woman who had her hair pulled back in a tight pony tail, also in a uniform that matched Hobbs'.

"Alright Hobbs, you've got the best crew in the world standing right in front of you. Give them a reason to stay." My brother finally spoke up, walking away from the windows and over towards where the rest of us were standing.

"Our target's Owen Shaw. Former major in the SCS, he ran the U.K's mobility division." Hobbs began explaining, tossing a picture of Owen Shaw paper clipped to some other files,  down on the large square table in front of us.

"That mobility division is the truth. We talkin' vehicular warfare, best in the world." Tej explained, walking over to the table. I folded my arms over my chest.

"For years, they've been runnin' jobs in Europe. It's their most recent jobs that graduated them to a whole new level. Three targets, highly specific. The program terminal from a ICB-" I stopped paying attention to what Hobbs was saying since I was distracted by Roman, who was asking Tej for some change.

"Seriously? You a millionaire and you still tryna ask for money?" Tej whispered to Roman. Hobbs had stopped talking and gave them both an annoyed look while I just rolled my eyes.

"That's how you stay a millionaire." Roman retorted, taking the change Tej had just handed him and walked towards the vending machine in the back of the room.

"So what does this all mean?" I asked, speaking up for the first time.

"This means that Shaw's crews are building a Nightshade device." Hobbs told me.

"Which is?" Giselle asked, clearly none of us besides the two cops in the room knew what that meant.

"It's a tech bomb designed to block an entire military communication grid for twenty-four hours." The woman explained. "Blind a solider for a single second, he'll put up a fight and he dies. You blind a country for twenty-four hours. . . the loss of life is unthinkable.. This could be worth billions to the right buyer." Hobbs added, stressing the importance of our mission.

"Billions?" Tej asked himself. "Why didn't we just steal that shit?" I smirked, refraining from laughing since we were supposed to be serious.

"Hey man, which one of these things is a dollar-" Roman was cut off by Hobbs pulling out his gun and shooting the glass of the vending machine, causing the glass to shatter. Everyone jumped.

"It's on the house." Hobbs sarcastically said to Roman. "I want you to help me catch Shaw. He's only got one piece left that he needs and I intend on finding out how to stop him before he gets it. Now I know you guys are a family.. So I'm offering you a chance to make that family whole again." Hobbs said in a serious tone, setting down the same picture of Letty that Dom had shown Brian and myself. I felt a pang in my chest seeing Letty's picture again.

"You wanna make this family whole again? Get us to Letty, we'll get you to Shaw, full pardons all the way around." Brian told Hobbs. Everyone gave Hobbs the same look.

"I can't promise you that." Hobbs disagreed, shaking his head. Liar. I had been with Brian long enough to catch onto some of the cop stuff he would tell me.

"Yes you can." I told Hobbs. Dom stood next to Brian and myself. "That's the deal.. Take it or leave it." Dom added, a small smirk on his face.

"You get me Shaw.." He paused. "And I'll get your pardons." I smiled. That's better.

"You heard him. But this is different. We're not dealing with cops, we're not dealing with drug dealers, it's a whole different level." Brian explained.

"We gettin' paid, right?" Roman quietly asked Brian. I rolled my eyes. Oh Roman

"Brian?" I said to Brian. He looked over his shoulder at me.

"Yeah?" He asked, pushing himself off the desk he had been leaning against whilst talking to Tej.

"Come here." I told him, nodding over towards the place that we'd be calling our room until we left England. He nodded, walking over to me after telling Tej he'd be back in a minute.

"What's up?" He asked, leaning against the door frame. I sat down on the bed.

"The people that we're dealing with... they're dangerous, like you said. Tonight, if we find anything, I want you to be careful, okay? I can't handle losing someone else.." I quietly said, feeling a pang in my chest. The whole miscarriage still effects us even though it happened what seems like so long ago. He walked over to me, kneeling down so he was eye-to-eye with me.

"I'll be careful, I promise. Only if you promise to be careful too." He reasoned, grabbing my hand.

"I'm always careful." I joked, smiling a small smile. He smiled as well and leaned down for a kiss which I gladly returned. Unfortunately, he pulled away.

"I gotta go back and figure some stuff out with Tej." He informed. I nodded as he stood up. "I love you." I smiled, butterflies forming in my stomach from those three simple words.

"I love you too." I told him. He walked away towards Tej and sat down, picking up the papers he was looking over before. Tonight's going to be risky and hopefully we'll find something.

We've got a lead on where Shaw may be hiding out, and tonight, we're going to ambush him.
