-~Bubblegum's POV~-

When I woke up, I was in a white room, in an unfamiliar bed.

"Thank god. You finally woke up."

I turned around and saw Not Blue next to me. "What the-"

Then I remembered the events of the last few minutes. I sat upright, properly noticing my surroundings. We were in what looked like a mini hospital or the sickbay at highschool. There were three other beds and King, Carrot and Riley were sprawled over them.

"Uh where are we?" I asked.

Not Blue managed a grin. "This," he said with a vague wave around the room ",is Medbay. It's a room aboard the Skeld. The Dropship arrived here a half an hour ago. The others that are awake are in the Comms right now, trying to get in contact with the researchers at MIRA HQ."

I looked around for Blueberry. I needed that familiar, blue ball of energy now, comforting me. As if summoned, the little teal dog trotted down the hallway and peeked into Medbay. Upon seeing me, she bounded into the room and onto my bed, yapping excitedly the whole way. Blueberry rolled out her tongue and lunged forward. I held my hands out to stop her show of affection.

"No Blueberry! We agreed to this! NO LICKING!"

Blueberry whimpered in disappointment.

"Ahem," Not Blue said.

"Oh right. Ok I'll go to Comms-"

I gave out a yelp of pain. Their was a searing pain in my right leg where the meteoroid had hit it. Blueberry whined in concern. Not Blue sprang up. "Just relax the leg, I'll get the Medbay Scan ready."

I sighed and sat down and began stroking Blueberry, who was on my lap. I hated missing out on all the action.

According to the Medbay Scan, my leg was fractured. I had to walk around on the crutches. I hobbled to Comms, where everyone was at. Riley, Carrot and King had woken up a long time ago. I finally entered Communications after cutting through the Cafeteria and Storage. Everyone except Who was crowded around a huge computer. Cherry turned around and saw me coming in and began eyeing my crutches.

"Hey Bubblegum. Are you ok?"

"Obviously not but anyway, what are you guys looking at?"

Everyone cleared a straight path to the computer. Not Blue was near it, trying to get the computer to boot up. I sighed. "Everyone knows that's not going to boot it up. Let me show you how it's done."

I got my good leg and kicked the computer. Instantly, the screen began to glow. Ebony gave me an impressed look. Not Blue then took out a blue USB, labelled EMERGENCIES ONLY and inserted it into the USB port. The screen began to flicker to life as the Chief in Command's face appeared. Noticing my crutches, his face crunched up in concern. "Is everything alright back there?"

I lifted a crutch. "Does it look alright? I got hit with a meteoroid in my leg and believe me, it's not fun."

The Chief ignored my sarcastic comment and instead focused on Not Blue.

"So what exactly happened?"

Not Blue looked grim, "Alienium. Two ore samples crashed into the front window."

The Chief looked pale "No no... It can't be happening again!"

Carrot raised her hand, "Right now I have two questions. One, what the heck is alienium? and two, meteoroids have crashed through a window and hit people before?"

The Chief sighed, "I'm sorry, but some of you may not come back alive."

That was the last straw. Pandemonium erupted in that little room. "WE MAY DIE?!" "WHY ARE YOU SO CALM ABOUT THIS?!" "NOT BLUE! DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS?!" "EXCUSE ME BUT WHAT THE F*CK" "HEY NO SWEARING IN FRONT OF THE KID!"

(The last one was Angel but you could probably guess that).

"Order! Please!" the Chief pleaded. Reluctantly, everyone listened.

"I will try to explain the situation. That meteoroid you saw is carrying an ore called alienium. The alienium crystals react violently when it makes contact with oxygen, releasing a thick, green vapor-"

"Can we just skip the science lesson?" King asked.

"Fine! But listen to this: The crystals come from a faraway planet. The alien life on that planet-"

"Hold up. ALIENS?" Teddybear interrupted in disbelief.

"Will you stop interrupting! Yes, aliens exist. The aliens specifically designed that crystal. They trapped a parasite of theirs and freezed that parasite inside the crystal and launched the meteoroids into space. The crystals are bulletproof, fireproof and waterproof. The only thing that opens them is oxygen. The parasites enter any living host it can find nearby and drives that host to kill any of it's kind."

There was a horrified silence. The Chief continued.

"Each meteoroid has one parasite inside it. Since two meteoroids crashed in, that means that two of you are infected. There are imposters among you all. Imposters are known to use the ventilation systems to move around the ship and escape the scene of crime. There are also recorded cases of them being able to hack into the system and either cut the lights, start a reactor meltdown, make oxygen stores deplete, lock doors and disable the cameras and the admin map. Some advice, carry around a megaphone and report dead bodies where they are spotted. Imposters can't actually do the tasks, so look out for anyone who is meandering around aimlessly. If you think that an imposter is found, call a meeting and vote that person out. They will be ejected into space. And one last thing."

The Chief looked at every one of us. "Some rare cases of imposters have been able to shapeshift. Change their appearance completely, and even mimic that person's voice and pet. I've already installed the Ejection App into your tablets. The parasite will take effect in about 24 hours since it has been injected inside it's host. Good luck, you'll need it-"

The screen of the computer flickered again, before turning off.
