Jungkook drive them to where he promise he will take hyunmin. "Appa? Where are we going?" She asked, curious while looking around.

This is not the way home, she noticed. Jungkook chuckles. "Appa promise you something didn't he?" Jungkook grins. Hyunmin tilted her head and make a thinking face.

Then, she makes a noise of realization. "Aha!" She said while looking at Jungkook with wide smile on her face. "Shopping?!" She asked for a confirmation.

Jungkook laughs at her cute antics and nods. "That's right. Appa promise to take you to shopping after I went to meeting"

" Appa never broke his promise" Jungkook said proudly. Hyunmin nods enthusiastically, showing that she agrees with Jungkook's statement.

Jungkook drive to the nearest shopping mall. When they arrive, he park his car and turn to smile at his daughter. "Let's go"

"Let's go!!" Hyunmin shouted excitedly and wait for Jungkook to get out first. Jungkook walks towards the other side of the door and unbuckle the belt and help Hyunmin get off the car.

Hyunmin skip excitedly, hand in hand with her appa. Jungkook just smile, but at the same time, a bit sad.

She was so excited because this was not the usual thing they do. Often than not, Jungkook just go alone. While Hyunmin didn't know. Because the image, it's been haunting his mind since forever.

Image that one day, Hyunmin was bound to meet with her mother. His ex had mad it clear that she didn't want to take care of the child. But people keep changing their mind.

What if she want to take Hyunmin away when she meet her? No, no, no, that can't happen. He will not let anything like that happen.

But that was before. Before he gained  the confident that he have a full right to Hyunmin. Jungkook is not going to keep her in the dark forever. One day, when she understands enough, Jungkook will show the picture of her mother.

One day, when she can understand everything he explains. She was smart. Jungkook knows, but he's not going to risk Hyunmin begging to meet her mother.

When he feels like he should introduce them, he himself didn't know where his ex now. How she's now. What happen to her and her partner. Jungkook didn't know.

The day Jungkook brought Hyunmin home. Every connection with her was cut. They never come across each other ever since. He didn't even know if she's still in Korea. Alive even.

He can't just give hyunmin a fake hope.

Now, Jungkook has promised himself that that he will spent his time with Hyunmin as much as she want.

Today, Jungkook promise her to go shopping because he just got his salary. What else he need to do with it if not spoiling his daughter?

Jungkook shake off his thoughts and focus on his overly excited daughter. Hyunmin was looking around with so much amazement.

She wants everything. But she knew, her appa wouldn't do that. She understands. She understands more than she should at this age. But Jungkook is still thankful.

Even though he need her to enjoy as much as she wants at this age more than anything. "So, Yunie, where do you want to go first?" Jungkook asked with so much excitement, matching hers.

"There!" Her little finger point at the shop that have variety type of clothes to choose.

"Let's go then" Jungkook takes her to the shop. Hyunmin looks around the shops with her own wide doe eyes that she got from him.

"Just choose whatever you want. I will buy it for you" Jungkook promised. He will do everything to make her happy.

Taehyung was driving home from the little trip to the convenience store. It's a bit far from his house to the store.

Taehyung park the car on the garage. He takes everything out from the backseat. He put the groceries down and pat his pocket looking for a key.

When he got it, he unlock the door and get inside with the groceries. He put it on the table and began organizing it.

He sighs when he's done with everything. He can't help but to think how it will be less tiring if there's someone around to do everything with.

Even with just a talk without anyone helping him, it must be less boring and tiring because there will be someone distracting him.

His brain start to imagining things, a different kind of scenario he only can hope for. For some reason, his brain start to picture a certain someone, or two.

Him walking around to put the groceries in it's places. A little girl tugging around him and telling him the story she heard at the school. One man sitting on the kitchen counter, another on one of the chair on the table.

Their faces start to getting into UHD. Taehyung snap out of it when he briefly imagine their faces.

He blinks a few time and slap himself. "What the fuck are you thinking?!" He scold himself. The ringing in his ear start to get annoying in this quite house. Oh how it will be if there's a constant noise around him.

He should've stayed in an apartment instead of a house. This house is not that big but it still feels too big sometimes. Without anyone here and just him who's barely home too.

It's true that kindergarten didn't last a day. Half a day actually. Where did he go after that? Nowhere. Just driving around the city to get his mind off something. His problem to be specific.

Another reason was because he can't stand the lonely feeling in his own house. He definitely should've got an apartment. But his parents leave this house for him to stay. Beside, it's close to the kindergarten. He really don't have any choice.

Taehyung sighs for the million time. He walks to his room gloomily after thinking about those things. When he get inside his room, he close the door and lock it, despite the fact that he's the only person in the house.

When he was walking, his eyes caught the sight of a little box. Sitting alone on the side of the other jewelry. He quickly avert his eyes.

He remembers clearly what that little box means.

Inside the box, kept a jewelry that represent a promise. If each jewelry represent one promise, then, the person who gave them to him have promises to fullfil.

He desperately want to hold onto that promises. But he didn't want to hurt himself. He didn't want to keep himself in the past. He wants to move on. But why is it so hard for him to do so?

He had sealed all the promise into a box. Hoping that one day, he can open it with the owner of the promises. The one who make it all. The one who give him all. Will he? That was something he didn't want to think. If it will stay locked even after his death, so be it.

Because he was still hoping for the promises to be fulfilled.

One day or never. That was something for him to find out.
