On the previous story, she has a plan to record all of her music and posted it through BandCamp and YouTube. She was quite hesitate but take a step forward from her comfort zone. On her mind, Cecilia didn't need a label to manage or control her music. As her online-music debut, she released a song called "And I Love Him". Cecilia put it out through BandCamp and YouTube. She immediately send it to Angela and Mitchell and they both loved it so much. Mitchell didn't realize that the song is about him. Cecilia was into both dream pop and slowcore music and her And I Love Him song was a mix of dream pop, slowcore, folk and the use of twee lyricism and psychedelic experimentation. The song title inspired by The Beatles' "And I Love Her" song. It's also a sad song somehow. It was very lo-fi and a lot of listeners love the authenticity. Recorded with a cheap microphone that Cecilia bought on a garage sale through MacBook on GarageBand. The song received about 300 downloads.

The song soon received a little spark on YouTube too by an official audio of her And I Love Him song. She also played around town and everyone knows her because of that song. Little did she know, a college radio station aired the song of hers and everyone thought it's either Tiny Vipers or Neko Case. Cecilia has a little success on the Seattle underground folk scene. Few weeks later, she released her second single, "Dumb" which is a mix of folk, dreampop, slowcore and received about 500 downloads. This gained her a huge online fanbase. Her YouTube audio video also gained a lot of views. She's also been subscribed by a lot of people. There's a chance she wants to make a full-length debut album but it's up to her. She wrote another song called "Moonlight", a mix of folk, psychedelia, dream pop and slower tempos. It's a sad song and about missing her loved ones who are already gone. The single gave a spark around BandCamp and YouTube with the help of Reddit and 4chan online forums and internet blogs. Critics like Pitchfork, Stereogum and BrooklynVegan approved her music. She was inspired by the likes of Mazzy Star, Elliott Smith, The Microphones, Cat Power and Slowdive. They called her music as "slowcore", "psychedelic-folk" and "twee pop".

A fact about Cecilia. She's a huge fan of pop music. To spend her free time, she write and record her songs through the laptop to fill up the debut album that she's going to make. Some of her songs are based on her real life experiences, from depression, anxiety, love, relationships, grief, mental health, comfort and regrets. She also got Angela and Mitchell for the backing vocals. Her songwriting was praised by many others. She recorded the album only for a week but also during school time. Cecilia managed to release her debut album titled Affection around 2010. The album also paved a way to a new generation in music.
