PRANISH - LAST NIGHT'S DREAM

Prologue

This is a story about two guys Pratik & Nishant.

They were poles apart in their personalities, if one was day then the other was night.

If Pratik was an introvert then Nishant was an extrovert.

If Nishant was a "go with the flow" kinda guy then Pratik was a "planning everything to the T" kinda guy.

If Pratik was an optimist then Nishant was a realist.

If Nishant was "life of the party" then Pratik was the party pooper and this could go on for hours...but let me first introduce you all to them.

Pratik was a 29yr old moderately tall brown haired boy with very sharp facial features, a chiseled jawline and a toned physique. Though he was a graduate in law he always felt that he wasn't suited for the conventional 9-5 job life so he chose to follow a different path that led to his dream career of acting. He was a fitness freak and an aspiring actor who had done few shows here and there and was trying hard to find his footing in the glamour industry.

Nishant was a 36yr old fairly tall curly black haired man with expressive big hazelnut brown eyes, light stubble and a smile that could light up even the darkest corners of a room. He was an already established dancer/choreographer in the entertainment industry with years of experience in his kitty. Nishant has always been comfortable being in the background or behind the camera and was kind of okay with it till he decided to come in the forefront and enjoy the limelight focused on him for the very first time.

It was destiny who brought them together in a celebrity reality show where they had to live under one roof with 14 other contestants for three/four months in a house surrounded by 240 cameras 24/7 completely cutoff from the external world without phone, tv and other electronic devices that can connect them to any news of outside world.

Not only do they both rose to fame for their strong individual stands in the show but also they bonded organically on the show and became each other's biggest emotional support. The whole world witnessed and fell in love with their genuine bond that people couldn't fit under any stereotypical box of conventional labels. Fans also lovingly gave a name #PraNish to celebrate the duo.

My story continues from a time after the show got over and they both were offered another reality show inspired from the concept of fear factor (a celebrity reality show full of adventurous stunts where one gets to conquer their phobias of height, water, fire, creepy-crawlies etc.)

By this time Pratik and Nishant have both become a close part of each other's lives and they publicly addressed each other as bestfriends or brother from another mother but was there anything more to their story?

Also now that the media knew about them and a whole fanbase was dedicated to them will they be able live up to their expectations or will their bond suffer or worse crumble under this added pressure?

Well we will explore more of that here.

Hi all, this is my amateurish attempt to write something for the very first time here. It will be a mix of real incidents plus a figment of my imagination. There will not be any fixed schedule of uploading the chapters but I will write as long as the ideas come to me.

Hope all of you will join me in this ride and please bear with me from time to time. Any suggestions are welcome as long as those are put forth with kindness.

P.S.- I am going to write the chapters in a mix of English and Hindi. I will try to be decent but my mother tongue isn't Hindi so I may make a few mistakes.. feel free to correct me!
