Akshaya made her way back to kgf, seeming a bit down after that conversation — well, one sided conversation — with the protagonist.
She kept her eye on the troops that tagged along with her, trying to figure out that 'imposter' among them while not being too obvious.
She suspects its an assassination attempt against the current ruler of kgf, Garuda, not knowing the true intention of the imposter.
She also ordered her most trusted men to keep their eyes on the troop without being obvious as they headed back.
Even though her head was clouded, she had work to do. No matter how much she wanted to just leave everything, collapse and cry her heart out, she couldn't.
As the sun was setting, Akshaya stepped into kgf, heading towards Vaanaram to report the successful order of equipment and ammunition, dismissing the men who traveled along with her.
She soon stood infront of Vaanaram's office, immediately knocking on his door and walked in upon hearing his voice.
"The order has been placed successfully sir."
"Was it worth it?"
Akshaya portrayed a confused face.
"You said you'd regret it if you didn't go. Was it worth going out?"
"Yes it was worth it sir."
Vaanaram just looked at her with lidded eyes.
"I see."
Akshaya walked away and continued performing her duties as per usual and soon it was nighttime.
Akshaya let her hair open that she usually puts up in a ponytail or a bun while working but as work hours are over for her, she decided to go to her room.
She sat on her bed, staring at her hand which held a string which can be used as a bracelet.
She kept on staring at it, with a sad look on her face. She used to be fascinated at the intricate designs on it.
She sees a vision of an old lady with her grandchildren in an old fashioned house, sitting down with crossed legs as she was talking to them.
The children were listening to her eagerly, seemingly listening to some sort of a bedtime story.
"Do you know what constellations are, dear children??"
"Constellations?? You mean the patterns that stars form in the sky??" The older of the two children questioned.
"Yes but also no. Constellations hold a much more deeper meaning than just patterns in my opinion"
"What do you mean, grannie??" The younger one questioned this time.
The old lady let out a laugh on seeing their excited faces and continued, "The stars represent people, and the connection between 2 or more stars represent their relations in my opinion."
The vision slowly fades away in Akshaya's memory. She felt as if she experienced it herself yet she never had a grandmother.
Akshaya's longing increased on remembering the grandmother's words.
Akshaya ignored the random vision she had and went to sleep.
