"Why did you choose me?"
I asked picking at the food on my plate.
Y/n gave me a questioning look
"What do you mean by that?"
I look up from my plate.
"Look at you! I'm sure you have people lined up around the block... and yet you chose some dude without a job or any fancy degree..."
She stared at me.
"Reasons." She said in a
odd tone.
I look at her flabbergasted.
"Reasons?!! I need a better answer than that!" I yelled.
"We'll talk about this later."
She said with a board look.
("God I hate how she's always so vague about everything! I just want answers!!!!!")
I shoot up from my chair and slam my hands on the table.
"I want answers now!"
I yell getting frustrated.
Y/n looked at me with a displeased look on her face.
"Stop acting like a child! Now sit down and eat your fucking food."
Y/n's POV
Ash looked at me wide eyed and stammering before he huffed and finally sat back down. Ash pouted and went back to his food.
("Fuck. now I feel bad!")
I sigh and reach my hand over the table and grabbed Ash's unused one.
"I'm sorry for yelling... um I guess I chose you because.... Uh actually I have no idea." I said now questioning myself.
Ash looked up from his now empty plate. "What do you mean by that?"
He asked his full attention now on me.
"I- y-you're just so... Alluring. And wen you looked at me the way you did I just.... Felt this kind of spark..."
A look of remembrance appears in Ash's eyes.
"The spark..." I hear he mumble as he squeezes me hand.
"Then what does that mean for us?"
Ash ponders out loud.
I give him a serious look.
"What do you want it to mean?"
Ash shrugs "I don't know..."
A light pink hue appears on his face.
"M-maybe we c-can start as friends with benefits...?"
I smirk
"Mmmm yea I can live with that~"
