It was already the next day and y/n couldn't shake the feeling that someone was definitely watching her yesterday.

Y/n had snuck in and walked to her room as quickly and quietly as possible luckily her family was asleep and hadn't woken up.

Y/n got out of bed and got dressed she then put her shoes on and went downstairs for breakfast.

Mother had prepared Pancakes with some red sauce on them and the drink was just blood in a fancy glass.

We all ate in silence and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

I finished my breakfast and took my plate to the sink that's when Via come up to me.

"So why'd you stay out late last night?" Via questioned.

"I um lost track of time." I lied.

"Mm ok"

I knew she really didn't believe me but she didn't want to push it.

We walked into our "classroom" and Zed was ranting about Addison. He was telling us that he thought the cheerleader was cool but turns out she was gonna egg his house or someone's house. He even apologized for yesterday. But I zoned out and started to think about yesterday, someone was definitely there with me. I couldn't figure out who it could be.

"Whoa, Whoa! There are no human students in the basement". Mr. Z said.

We were confused and turned around to see a human girl and not just any girl it was Addison.

"Uh, someone yakked in the cafeteria," Addison said.

I glared at her and I think she noticed too since she looked away very quickly.

"Oh, right...still the janitor," Mr.Zeck said.

Zed walked to Addison with a very blank expression on his face.

"Wow! This is...awful" Addison said Looking around.

"Yeah, we would've cleaned, but the teacher's territorial about his mop" Eliza said.

Addison was uncomfortable and was very awkward but I can't really blame her she did just walk into a room full of Zombies and Vampires.

"Sorry," she said while pushing the Door to make room for the teacher.

"It's fine" he replied.

"Addison, what are you doing here?" Zed finally asked.

"Apologizing...my cousin, he's a jerk about zombies and vampires and last night was cheer initiation...not that that's a good excuse. I...I'm so sorry." Addison said.

"Well, what if Bucky sees us talking?" Zed asks.

"We'll make sure he doesn't" Addison reassures him.

I was confused about why on earth Zed of all people forgives a human.

My Siblings must have noticed cause they were glaring at Addison and Zed.
All I want to do is go home and lie in bed. Maybe even go for a walk or something.

"Uh, see you at the pep rally this afternoon?" Addison asked.

"We don't do pep rallies" I answered blankly.

Zed turned to me and gave me a look.

"We'll think about it," Zed told her.

Then that's when she finally left.

"Okay, can we like crack a window open in here?...it stinks of human," Via said getting annoyed with Zed.

Zed gave her a look but quickly looked away cause Via was someone you wouldn't want to mess with.

I rolled my eyes a went to my seat getting ready for class to start

I was at my locker putting away my books and other stuff since it was the end of the school day. Everyone was running to the gym trying to get a good seat but I couldn't wait to go home and watch some TV.
I closed my locker and was getting ready to walk to the exit when all of a sudden I heard someone yell "There are zombies and vampires at the pep rally" I stopped and used my vampire speed to get to the gym quickly.

As soon as I made it to the gym I saw Zed, Eliza, my brother and sister, and Bonzo looking for a seat. My eyes widened and I even gasped a little. I ran to them but stopped I knew this was kind of important to zed since his crush had asked him to be there, so I just decided to back off and go home as I planned. I can't just ruin Zed's chance at getting a human girlfriend even if I think it's a bad idea, but it's not my decision to make.

I used my super speed and ran home. Running straight to my room. I changed out of my school clothes and put on a tank top and shorts. I then went to do homework, after that, I jumped on my bed got under the covers and reached for my remote, and put on my favorite movie/show.

I woke up to the sound of laughter. I got out of bed and went to go see what was happening.

I went downstairs and saw my parents and siblings at the dinner table.

Mom noticed and said "Oh, hello dear come sit down and eat"
I did as I was told and served myself.

"As I was saying Bucky got mad that us Vampires and zombies were at the prep rally so, he lit up these sparkly sticks, and that set Bonzo off. he bumped into Zed, and then zed turned all zombie, and then. Addison was thrown up in the air and zed caught her so now he gets to play football" Vince explained.

"Wait, so Zed turned into a zombie?" I asked.

"Yes" he answered.

"And Zed's on the football team?" I ask.

"Yes, y/n jeez try to keep up"

I rolled my eyes and just continued eating. I was felling sorta guilty for not supporting my best friend. I should probably call him to make amends and say congratulations.

A/n: Sorry 🙏 I haven't updated in a while I honestly didn't have any motivation to write. But I do now so I'll update maybe tomorrow or on the 24th.
