Its been a week since they have been here. I already want them to leave no offence to Vinnie of course but...Valentine gave me a strange feeling.

I haven't hung out with Zed in a while but he had Addison to keep him company, while I was being Sherlock Holmes and conducting an investigation on my sister and my soon to be brother in law. I just knew that something was up with Valentine and I was gonna get to the bottom of it.

[TIMESKIP]

It had been a week since my sister and her fiancé came to our house.

I've gotten some clues but they led nowhere and now I was in my bedroom rubbing my temples in frustration as I couldn't figure it out. Homework was also in my way of investigating. I had to do it first and I quite literally almost had a pile of homework in my backpack and unfinished assignments.

I decided to get a snack since I needed to get away from my homework. I walked down the stairs and I saw Valentine in the kitchen making tea.

I quickly hid to the side of the Pilar and I could hear him speaking to someone.

"Yes, mum the plan is working, no one knows anything. The Ambrosias are very thick headed" Valentine said with a chuckle. I hid and didn't make a sound.
I heard Valentine walk away from the kitchen and I watched him leave and backed up slowly to the stairs when I hear the sound of spoon and tea cup... Valentine was behind me leaning on the stairs.

"You're a little nosy wanker aren't you?" He said smugly. He then smashed his empty tea cup over your head.

A/n: My bad for not updating in a while. I've been busy with school and Character.ai . It's been my addiction currently. I'll update and finish the series. I've also have other books in my drafts that I want to publish.
