a cuddle bug with a blanket.
the cold breeze of the wind welcomed felix's skin the moment he set foot on the sidewalk from his car. it was quite late, but he had to wait for your dismissal in a few minutes. thursday's class schedule is not your cup of tea, even your boyfriend didn't like the fact that you'd be out by 9 in the evening. a sigh escaped from his lips the moment he laid his eyes on you, walking away from the entrance of the campus, drained, tired and drowsy. his voice suddenly echoes which made you look at him. a smile crept up on your face at the sight of him, spreading his arms as he came forward to embrace you.
the sudden feeling of ease and comfort made you want to collapse in his arms. but you needed to do things before cuddling with felix later. he kissed your forehead as he assisted you inside the car and drive back to your apartment with a hand on the wheel, and the other one, holding yours, interlocking your fingers.
felix cooked for you as you took a nice warm shower to relax your body from stress. he even prepared which pajamas you should wear and of course, your favorite food on the table. by the time you sat down to eat, he asked how your day was and how are you feeling after a tiring day. your boyfriend is so caring to the fact that you just wanted to marry him pronto. he'll be a good husband to you, which, he even promised to be a good boyfriend at the start of your relationship. you love the food, you love the pajamas, you love the comfort and everything about him.
after dinner, he told you to wait inside your bedroom as he rushed to get some fresh blanket from the laundry and a penguin plushie, which you love so much. felix entered the room and sat beside you, suddenly wrapping the pink duvet around your bodies to cuddle. he handed the gray penguin plush as you awed in response on how sweet this gesture was. your boyfriend pulled you into a tight hug, caressing your hair as you close your eyes to feel the warmth of his affection.
"rest on me baby, you did well today." he whispered in your ear, kissing your cheek after. his fingers played with your locks, humming you a lullaby, probably the tune of 'sunshine' until you fall asleep in his arms.
