Rosevaunt High School
Player: JasmineJasmine sat in her 1st block and watched her teacher move about the classroom, teaching Shakespeare's most famous works with a certain fluidity only achieved after wasting 30 years in the same school, watching as the incoming students change for the worse.
"Macbeth was an overachiever, someone who wished to remain in power and would do so by any means. This is clearly conveyed through the multiple acts of murder he either committed or plotted. A lot of you sitting in this class, are like Macbeth. You will do anything to achieve a goal created for you by someone else, even if it means hurting others or even yourself. Think of Macbeth as a firefly, a quick flash of light that can become captivating or a nuisance depending on the eyes of the watcher."
Jasmine nodded her head in agreement and began to think about her parents. Her parents were pushing her to be the best, but it hadn't always been like that. When her sister Evelyn died, her parents' pressure and love was dropped onto Jasmine at a suffocating rate, and was the cause of all of their arguments.
There had been a time in Jasmines's life when she wished her sister would perish, but the moment it happened she wished she could raise her from the dead. Or she wished she could take her place. She did nothing but fight with her parents, and a fight had even occurred that morning over her 93 in Geometry.
There was no pleasantries exchanged between her or her parents, and the phrase "I love you" was nonexistent.
Jasmine brushed these thoughts aside and began to take notes in her Journal.
