Eastern Lily High School
Player: Celeste
Trigger warning: mention of assault and sexual assaultCeleste looked at the state of her clothes and groaned. They were unwashed and dirty, torn in several places, and on the verge of falling apart. They barely fit her anyway. It was the best she could do, though. After running away from her home once again, all she had was the clothes on her back and whatever she found in her locker.
As she entered the school, running quite late, she decided to stop at the bathroom and attempt to fix her hair or clothes a bit to seem more presentable.
Life hadn't always been like this for Celeste. She used to be a normal girl, with a normal family. A family who loved her and wanted her around. People who were happy to see her.
But that changed when it came out that her father was a rapist. Celeste had watched her world collapse, and because of her father's actions she had become an outcast. When her father went to jail, her classmates ousted her from social groups, and teachers were hesitant to help her.
Her own mother turned her back to her as well, resorting to going out every night in order to try and find a piece of happiness she could hold onto. When she returned home without finding her joy, she would attack Celeste and scream hurtful things at her.
Celeste couldn't even hold this against her mother. She understood her mother's desire to find happiness once more, and how it was painful to deal with. Nevertheless, Celeste couldn't stay in her home, and had run away multiple times. Every time this occurred, she always ended up returning out of sheer worry for her mother.
After all, she could never leave without saying goodbye. For this reason, Celeste often thought herself to be pathetic.
Celeste ran her fingers through her hair before tying it up in some hap-hazardous style.
She began her walk to class
