The gentle blue waves licked at the sandy shore. From the ocean rose a cloaked man, stepping out of reach from the water's icy embrace. Out on the sand, a hole ruptured, revealing a beautiful young woman dressed in a simple yellow dress, which complimented the sun. Her long brown hair fell down her back in neatly brushed waves. The tall cloaked man walked towards the woman, stopping just a few feet in front of her.

"Well?" He said expectantly. "Is it ready for me yet?"

The woman frowned slightly, "Almost, just a few more finishing touches to be added. You know, Colligo, patience is virtue."

The man cussed under his breath before replying, "Rose, my power dwindles every moment I sit back waiting for it to be done. As you know, they are the most imaginative beings on the planet. The very existence of my power." He said, his voice dangerously quiet.

Rose pursed her lips, "It is not my fault that you decided to be so careless with your power in the past. It will be done by tomorrow morning." She said, a certain curtness to her accented voice.

The woman willed the sand beneath her to rush up like a swirling storm around her. When the sand rested onto the ground once again, Rose was gone.

The man, not able to discuss the situation any further, receded into the relentless cold abyss. Allowing his cloaked body to be lost to the icy waves, he disappeared.
