It has been 3 years. The aki boys and naruto have gotten so much better. They go to therapy as a family to help strengthen their relationship. Naruto and gaara forgave each other and co parent perfectly. Menma is 5 and started school. He goes to the boarding school the grandparents wanted.
Naruto and sasuke only spend the weekend with him. They thought it would be best for him since he does have to learn so mucb stuff. But they are going to take him out of it when he is 10. The quadruplets are 3 and go to an advanced daycare. They are great.
Naruto is pregnant with twins. He agreed to be a surrogate for itachi and deildera since he and deidera looked alike. He will be due in 3 months. Naruto and sasuke talked about how naruto had more then 1 kid. And discovered that his body is senistive whenit comes to feterlizing.
Akikos grave is always active with people. Naruto or the aki boys go just to talk about their day or lives without her. Sasuke talks to her when he needs help about something. When somebody needs help they go to talk to her grave because the sun is always shining over there.
Naruto forgave his family he coukdnt blame them forever. Yes he isnt close to them likehe was but they are working to get there. If naruto learned something from her death it would have to be how precious life is. He has made a vow to live each day to the fullest.
But in the back of his mind their will always be regrets. Regrets like how he didnt do the chores one day. Regrets like how he did something he didn't mean to. Or that one regret where he typed an extra 0 in a pay check but he was to nice to tell the lady that. But his biggest regret would be not being there when his kids needed him the most.
His biggest regret is how he didnt fight for his kids when he gave birth. Or how he didnt fight to find them to make sure they was safe. His biggest regret is that akiko died when she could have been saved. Naruto lives his life dreading that. But it gets better as time passes.
