It's been a few weeks since I've had my first mission and used my powers, but the ones I didn't use were controlling and talking to animals. I used them twice, but they were for little stupid reasons.
I wanted to spend one day by myself. To many things are going on. Rose and Aiden are fighting. Luke is spending the day with Steve. Tyler and Thor went back to Asgard for a few days. Clint and Natasha are fighting with each other because their kids are fighting. Tony and Madison instigate everyone and my dad is in hiding. With all the fighting going on I understand why.
I took a walk in the park and something caught my attention. It looked like it was a wolf, but there aren't any wolves in New York City. It was weird. I didn't know what to do. There was no one around so I thought I would talk to it.
"Hello." I said keeping my distance.
It just stared at me and then it came closer and closer until it stopped and sat in front of me.
"What is a wolf doing in New York?" I asked it.
"I'm...I'm not a wolf." It said hesitantly. All of a sudden it ran behind a tree and a girl came out. It was weird. Why would a wolf be in New York, come near a person and not even attack them, go behind a tree, and then a girl comes out. Am I crazy or something.
She came you to me.
"Hi im...um Jo...Johanna." She said scared.
"I'm Violet. What happened are...are you the wolf?" I asked.
"I'm a shapeshifter." She said.A shapeshifter is someone who can turn into all kinds of animals and some can turn into different kinds of people. I Honestly think that shapeshifting is the best power ever.
"What are you doing shifting in a park you could be seen? Where are you parents?" I asked with a serious tone.
"I....I don't have any." She told me while starting to cry.
"It's okay you don't have to cry. Why aren't you in a Foster home." I asked.
"I ran away because I'm scared I don't know What's wrong with me." She said crying.I don't know what to do. I just found an orphan girl who looks like she's ten maybe twelve years old and she has powers.
I told her about my powers, but not my family, it was just to risky. I asked if she had a place to stay, but she wouldn't answer which made me think that she didn't. It was getting late and I couldn't just leave her hear all alone in a empty park at night.
I told her to turn into a mouse so that she could fit in my pocket. I took her home and put her in my room. The only problem was that Rose and I share this room and she is the kind of person who CAN'T keep secrets. Jo will just have to stay a mouse until I can find a place to keep her.
"You need to stay a mouse until it's safe." I told her.
She nodded her little head in agreement. She looked like she was hungry so I went in the kitchen and got a little price of cheese and fed it to her. She looked better than before.
It was easy bringing her here. Everyone was to busy fighting to notice.
It was late and I was tired. I put her on my pillow on my desk chair and pushed it in to make sure no one would see her. Then I went to sleep.
When I woke up I went to the chair to check on her, but she was gone.
