Choosing A Side

Luke and I have been dating for two months now and it's been really great. We've been on such great dates together. The movies, dancing, the zoo, the fair and so much more.

"Where should we go for our next date?" Luke asked coming up behind me and putting his arms around my waist.

"Where ever you want." I said turning around and kissing him.

"Why don't we go on a double date? You and Luke and me and Aiden." Rose said.

Then Aiden came in the room and said that he didn't want to.

"I don't think so." He said.
"Why not?" Rose asked.

"Well two reasons, one reason is that Luke is so annoying because he thinks he's so tough when he's not and the other reason is because when I say something wrong Violet has to jump in and correct me." He said.

"First of all that's so rude and not true at all. You can't talk about my friend like that in front of me. I mean its true avout Luke, but you can't say that about Vi." Rose said.

"Excuse me. Why.....Why would you say that about my boyfriend." I said.
"I'm just agreeing with my boyfriend while defending you." She said.
"You can't say that about my boyfriend." I yelled at her.

I was so mad at her that I just wanted to punch her in the face. It was weird I've never been this mad before in my entire life, but I guess it's common considering my dad is the Hulk and everything, but if I get any angrier I'm gonna hit her.

"Who's side are you on mine or his because you can't chose both?" Rose said.

Now she's making me choose. I don't know what to do. Do I choose my boyfriend or my bestfriend? If I choose Rose I could lose Luke forever, but if I choose Luke I could lose Rose forever.

She made me so mad that there was literally fire coming put of my hands. I just wanted to make a fireball and throw it her. I made one, but Luke pulled me away and calmed me down.

"Stop she's not worth it." He said very calmly.
"She's making me choose between the both of you. Do you know how hard that is?" I said almost starting to cry in his shoulder.
"Even if you choose her I understand and I will still be your boyfriend." He said pulling me to his chest.

I was so relieved, but if Rose was really my best friend she wouldn't have adequate me choose. So we clearly aren't best friends. I told her and she spat at me and left.

I just lost my best friend because I was defending my boyfriend. It may sound stupid, but she made me choose.
