My opinion: The way this book was written is insanely beautiful. Like this is THE MOST poetic author in this fandom, I cannot express to you how beautiful some of the quotes in this fic are. Velvetoscar paints a stunning picture in your head with their words like who writes like that? It's sooooo pretty. Ngl I had a difficult time starting this book and the beginning is pretty slow. There were so many times I almost quit it because of how frustrating it got, but it was SO worth every second. The ending is SO SO good and I absolutely loved this story. I also lived for Louis' dramatics and Niall's Niallness in this story. If you like a slow burn, this is another classic and a must read. There is a reason it's one of the most famous fics in our fandom.
