And I present....the chapter we've all been waiting for🥹🥹

Ron walked up the pathway to Knott Manor's front door. There were a handful of other aurors behind him. Ron leaned forward and knocked on the door. They waited for a few minutes before it was opened by Theo.

"What the hell do you two gryffindorks want?" Theo asked. Ron sighed. "Is your dad here?" He asked. Theo scoffed. "No, my dad's in Azkaban. You're an auror, Weasley, you should know that better than anyone," Theo snapped.

Ron crossed his arms over his chest. "No, he escaped and he broke into the Malfoys' home. Do you know mind if we search the house?" He asked. Theo's brows furrowed.

"Are they okay?" He asked. Ron ignored him. "Can we search your home or not?" Ron asked. Harry sighed, leaning forward. "Yeah, they're okay,"

Theo nodded. "Yeah, you can look but he's not here," Theo whispered. Harry sighed. "Do you know where he could be?" Harry asked. Theo stared at Ron for a moment.

"The other day one of the windows in the guest house was broken. I thought-I thought it was a rock or something. People come here all the time and...disrupt the property. He might, it might be him," Theo mumbled. "It never occurred that- I didn't even know he escaped," Ron whispered.

Ron was standing outside the Knott's guest house. They had all the possible exits blocked. Ron looked over at Harry and nodded.

"Don't die," Ron told him. "You seem to have a knack for that," Ron joked. Harry chuckled. "You can't die either. You've got something to live for, I don't," Harry told him. Ron's forehead creased as his heart rate picked up.

"You've got Draco," Ron mumbled. He looked over his shoulder to signal to the other auror. Harry turned and kicked the front door in. He disappeared through the door and Ron followed after him.

The house was dark and eerily quiet. Ron felt his heart beat start to race again. Ron followed behind Harry, his wand held so tightly his knuckles were turning white.

A green light lit up the room and both men were quick to duck behind a couch. Ron turned to look over at Harry. "How good are you at Expelliarmus again?" Ron asked. Harry chuckled. "Real funny, Ron," Harry shot. Ron shrugged and peaked over the couch.

He caught a glimpse of someone turning and saw his chance. Ron waved his wand and casted a body binding curse. It hit them squarely in the back and Ron watched as he feel like a bag of rocks.

Ron chuckled and stood up. "That was easy," Ron climbed out from behind the couch and walked over to Emmett Knott. Ron bent down so he could look into his face. Emmett was glaring at him and Ron smiled back.

"Look like someone's out of practice," Ron joked. Ron forced Emmett up as Harry climbed out. "I think that's the easiest criminal we've caught yet, Ron," Harry said, smiling.

Ron nodded as another auror walked through the door. "Let's get him to questions," Ron told him. The auror nodded and guided Emmett out of the house.

Harry looked over at Ron and went to open his mouth but Ron stopped him. "Let's go so we can get home. I'd like to get some decent nights sleep tonight," Ron said.

Ron sat across from Emmett. He had his hands cuffed to the table, palms down. Ron stared at Emmett with narrowed eyes.

"Did you break into the Malfoys' home?" Ron asked. Emmett smirked as he tilted his head. "The Malfoys are getting attack now?" He asked. "Bought time. My son's been getting too much of the hate lately," Emmett muttered.
