Roman's POV (2)

So, think of ever cool guy movie you ever saw. The guy casual strolls up the his babe's house and is in every way smooth and charismatic. Well think again. I wasn't cool or charismatic in the slightest. If you know Louisiana, summers are killer hot and my dumbass friend Andrew made me throw on one of his brother's hooded jackets incase we were "to be spotted and have to run so no one knows who we are". I hate him so much. I knew no one would see us but I played along with it anyway, and payed for it. By the time I got to Lorali's house I was sweating like a pig and smelling like one too, so much for the bottle of cologne and I really should've worn pants, because my legs were so bitten up by so many mosquitos that it was rediculous. Yet when I saw Lorali sitting by the tree in cute little skull T-shirt and and shorts it was all worth it. She usually wore glasses but she wasn't wearing them for one, which I wasn't complaining because she had really pretty hazel eyes that lit up more without the glasses on.

Lorali had a large dark blue blanket curled up in her arms that I guessed was for use to lay on. She motioned for us to walk across the street, to do the deed away from the house. Lorali and I went behind this large tree across from her house and just sat there. I was a very awkward kid to begin with but with what we were planing to do my awkward level was in overdrive. So after about five minutes of silence I grabbed her hand and said let's find a spot to lay out the blanket. She blushed and nodded. So we awkwardly walked back to her house and circled to the pear tree and laid the blanket out under it in her back yard. We kinda just laid there and talked for what felt like hours. After a while I took up whatever courage I had and went in, I turned her head towards me, looked deep into her eyes, and kissed her soft, gentle lips after motioning Andrew to leave.
