Childe woke up in his nest. He felt so tired and burnt out from the current events.He sighed and looked to the corner where Zhongli was sitting. Zhongli was looking over the plan for the first support group session. They would be having lunch at the waterfall in Cloud Retainers watching area. Zhongli looked over and made eye contact with Childe. Zhongli took note of the bags underneath his omega's eyes.
Zhongli stood up. "Are you hungry?" He asked Childe. Childe nodded and sat up. "I really want sushi. I'm craving sushi. Please alpha get me sushi." He begged. Zhongli's nose scrunched up at the mention of seafood but sighed. "Of course my sweet dove. We will get you some sushi. I'll also make sure its served with water so you have something to drink." Zhongli walked closer to the nest. He was able to stand in front of it without hearing Child's growls.
"Can I have crab too alpha? Crab with sauce." Childe asked. Zhongli crouched down. He brought Childe into a hug being sure to scent his omega. "Of course. I'll have it prepared for you." He answered. Childe nuzzled into him and purred. Child's mouth watered at the thought of crab and fish. Zhongli pulled away. "Stay here okay? I'm going to request the cook make you your dishes downstairs. I'll be right back." He requested. Childe nodded and leaned up to give Zhongli a kiss on the tip of his nose before settling back down in his nest.
Zhongli smiled and stood up from the floor. He walked out of the twos shared room. He made his way down the stairs and too the kitchen he was shocked to see Xiangling and the regular Chef standing in the kitchen sharing recipes and spices. Zhongli greeted the two chefs. "Hello chiefs, I was wondering if you'll make something for my mate who is in heat right now." He questioned. Xiangling nodded. "Oh course sir! What is your mate craving?" She asked excited. "Well he wants sushi and crab with sauce." She nodded and wrote it down. "That's great! I think I know just the recipe!"
Zhongli sat at a table and watched as the two chefs worked together to make a meal for his mate. He wrote down some good meals to prepare for the lunch that the support group would be having. He was lost in thought while thinking of seafood dishes when he fell back in his chair. Zhongli looked down to see his omega clinging to him and nuzzling into his chest.
Zhongli let out a long sigh before putting his hand on Childe's lower back. He held him close as he leaned up. "Childe,you should stay in the room in your nest." He said with a sigh. Childe let out a whimper and nuzzled into his neck. "You were taking too long." He mumbled. Zhongli sighed and got up off the ground. He sat the chair back up to sit in it again. When he sat down Childe was sitting in his lap. Childe kissed his jaw and giggled. "You smell nice." He whispered. Zhongli smiled and kissed the omega's forehead. "Do I?" Zhongli asked. Childe nodded. Childe hissed in disgust when he felt a gush coming from between his leg. Childe began to whine. "So gross!" He yelled.
Zhongli sighed and carried Childe back to their shared room. "Sweet Childe, please stay in here. Its for your safety." He said. Childe huffed in anger. "Stay with me! I want to be close to you." Childe purred and rubbed against Zhongli. He grunted before pulling away. "It wouldn't be wise to do this while you're starving." Childe nodded and looked at his lap than at his nest. He gasped and got up from the bed and walked over too his nest. Zhongli decided to head back down to the kitchen and give Childe privacy to reconstruct his nest. "Right in time Mr. Zhongli!" Xiangling said with a smile. She handed him two plates of hot food. The smell of seafood was absolutely disgusting to him. He thanked her and told her he would be back down with payment.
He walked up the stairs only to be stopped by Xiao. "My lord! I can carry one if you wish." He said. Zhongli smiled and handed him one plate. "Be careful Ajax will be very upset if you drop it." He said with a smile. Childe stiffened when he heard the name. It is true he doesn't have to go by his code name anymore since he isn't a harbinger. Ajax sat up in his nest whimpering.
Zhongli hushed him and laid the tray he was carrying on the bed in front of the omega. Childe smiled and looked over at Xiao sniffing the air. Xiao handed the plate off to Ajax. He took it from the other male and sat it next to the other plate. Ajax pulled Xiao into a hug and scented him. Zhongli chuckled as he saw Xiao try and get out of the omegas grip. After Ajax was done scenting him he let go. Xiao fixed his clothes with a huff. "I'll excuse myself." Xiao said before leaving. Ajax turned back to his food and started eating. He was half way through the plate when Zhongli grabbed a bag of mora to take downstairs to the cook.
"I'll be back in a bit okay sweet thing? stay put." He requested. Ajax nodded and turned his attention back to his food. Zhongli left the room shutting the door with a silent click. Zhongli walked down the stairs looking behind him to make sure Ajax wasn't following him. He walked to the kitchen where the two chiefs were chatting about cooking completions, dishes they've made, ingredients and such. He walked into the kitchen and pulled out mora. The two Chiefs smile and thank Zhongli. He nods and heads back upstairs.
    When Zhongli entered the room again he was quick to notice Ajax was away from his nest and standing by the window looking out at the street. Zhongli walked towards him and wrapped his arms around the omegas waste. "What are you looking at?" He asked. Ajax only answered with a whimper. When Zhongli looked out into the street below he saw Xiao talking to Aether. Xiao looked beat up and in horrible shape. Zhongli chuckled a bit and kissed Ajax on the cheek. "Listen, Xiao is a adeptus he'll be fine. He's not a child that needs protecting. He's not your pup." Zhongli felt a harsh slap hit his cheek and an angry huff. Child walked over to his nest and destroyed it to bring it under the bed. Zhongli stood there shocked.
   "Ajax, Ajax I'm sorry." He said annoyed and walked towards the bed. "Go away." Childe huffed. Zhongli pinched the bridge of his nose. This was going to be a long day. He decided he should get some wine to share with the omega. Ajax was nearing the last stretch of his heat which might lead to some complications. He got up and stumbled out of the room.
