Chapter 11

michael's pov

i have no idea who knocked me out but i'm gonna go sit with delilah while she's resting. i get up off the floor i dust myself off and i go take a seat in a visitors chair. "that's good."i said to myself, she's still sleeping. "How long have i been out?" i thought to myself.

i can't believe she has cancer, i can't lose her. she's my everything i don't know what i'm gonna do. i guess just make the best of things and give her a life she deserves.

delilah's pov

i awake from sleeping , i look at the clock on the wall and see it's been a couple hours. i look over and i see michael sitting there, the sweetest guy i know. "hi." i say. he says, " hi baby, how are you feeling? talk to me, since when have you had cancer." he said with concern. " i just found out recently , they say it's not serious. that's the first time i've ever passed out before. who was that guy at the mall?" he says with uncertainty, " i'm not sure, i'm trying to figure that out myself."

i sit there in the hospital bed trying to piece things together. i want to get over this cancer, my doctor said i have stage 1 leukemia i'm hoping i can get rid of it with radiation and chemo.

"are you ready to go home, princess." he gushes.
there he goes again with that p word, gives me butterflies and makes me blush.

"yes , i'm so ready." i say.

so he breaks me outta there without signing my discharge papers or anything, but i'm glad.

"can we go to your place baby?" i ask.

" of course, anything for my baby." he says with excitement.

i just want to spend all my time with him, but first we need food.

"i'm still hungry can we grab some food somewhere." i ask, and of course he's all for food so he agrees and we hit the road. he turns on some grunge band i've never heard of and we head to the strip on main street. i've never been more happier than what i am right now.
