Episode 5: Sweetie and the BIG Test
Episode starts with Sweetie sitting down on the floor, surrounded by the PAW Patrol. It was a day after the rescue mission in Planet Corgi. Ryder steps closer to Sweetie, holding a pup tag.
Ryder: Sweetie, me and the pups have made a small discussion about you. And it involves this. *shows puptag to Sweetie* You know what this is right?
Sweetie: Yes...? It is a puptag. The one you use to talk to the pup through in long distances.
Ryder: Exactly! What does it look like?
Sweetie: It is shaped like a shield-
Ryder: No, no, no. Not the puptag, I mean the symbol on it.
Sweetie: It... It has a crown in it. *confused*
Ryder: Yes, it does have a crown Sweetie. And do you know why I have this?
Sweetie: *remains silent*
Ryder sighs and gets closer to Sweetie. He kneels down. Sweetie closes her eyes, not knowing what might happened. Ryder takes a step back.
Ryder: Open your eyes Sweetie!
Sweetie: *opens eyes* What? What happened?
Ryder: Look down onto your neck. See any difference?
Sweetie: *looks down* No, not really. Just my crown puptag.
Silence covers the room. Has Sweetie really changed? Changed enough to be a bit oblivious? It was fair for Sweetie. She was just suddenly called at 6 in the morning to come to the Look Out. She hasn't really woken up yet.
Ryder: Sweetie, the pups and I have decided to make you our temporary member of the PAW Patrol!
Sweetie: *shocked and confused* W-what? You're not joking?
Ryder: Of course I'm not joking. You're our temporary member, meaning you're not officially yet.
Chase: We'll give you a big test to see if you have the skills to be in the team.
Skye: And if you ace it, then we can decide.
Sweetie: Wow, this is a really complicated initiation. But okay! What do I do first?
Ryder: Glad you asked. Follow me to the Top.
Ryder and Sweetie head inside the elevator and go up. They arrive at the top floor. They walk out and the screen turns on, revealing what the test will be about. The screen showed City Hall and Mayor Goodway. Mayor Goodway is next to a robotic chicken.
Ryder: This is the test. Since you made and programmed Sweetie Bot, I figured that maybe you can help in tech-related emergencies. And maybe a few robotics.
Sweetie: So I have to program the big chicken? But for what reason does the Mayor of Adventure bay need a robot chicken?
Ryder: She didn't tell anyone why yet. And yes, this is the test.
Sweetie: Sweetie's on the scene I guess. Wait do I get to go on the slide?
Ryder: No, not yet at least... I haven't build a pup house or a vehicle for you yet, unless you want to use your original vehicle, then that's okay.
Sweetie: Well this is James you're also putting on the team, so okay then. Make one if you have to. My original automobile will just be used when I need to return to BarkingBurg.
Ryder: Alright then, for now, use the elevator. The pups have your temporary pup pack down, along with Busby.
Sweetie: Cool!
