Chapter 11

- Joe's P.O.V -

Amy and I arrived at the ice cream shop a little ways down from the hotel. We walked over to the long line of people and waited.

"This is going to take ages." I muttered completely annoyed.

"Don't worry." She smirked. "Do you want to play a game?"

"What game?" I asked.

"When I say an animal, you have to say an animal that starts with the last letter of my animal. So if I started us with tiger, you would have to say rhino or something."

"Okay, got it. You start."

"Cat." She smiled.

"Tasmanian devil." I smirked playfully.

She knew what I was doing. I was saying the confusing animals so it would make her have a hard time.

"Lion."

"A noot." I laughed.

"Tiger."

"Rattle snake."

"Elephant."

"Uh, um..." I stuttered.

Crap. I couldn't think of a T animal.

"YOU HESITATED!"

"Did not! I was thinking..." I chuckled.

"I win." She smiled playfully.

Next thing I know the cashier is waiting for us.

"Sorry sir." I said scratching the back of my neck.

"No worries! You two are a cute couple." The man replied cheerfully.

Me and Amy stared at each other in shock, but then I smiled warmly at her and said,

"Yes sir. We are indeed." I grinned.

Amy looked flabbergasted.

"Uh, um."

Just as she said that, someone forcefully punched her, and fell to her knees.

What. The. Hell. Just. Happened. Were the thoughts running through my head.
