It has been 4 months since the event of the previous chapter and our hero and his team are currently resting and relaxing alongside team 10 in the hot spring of the Uzumaki compound as they we're given a week off after their latest mission together.

Now

The hokage office

The Jonins, Tokubetsu Jonins and Chunins were assembled as the hokage is looking at 5 jonins who currently have genins teams.

Murmurs were being throwned as the hokage was smoking his pipe as he alongside Danzo we're looking at the 5 jonins the 5 were Yuhi Kurenai, Sarutobi Asuma, Hatake Kakashi. Maito Gai and Yamanaka Fu.

The hokage then decided to break the silence with a cough and said. As you all know we are the host of this year's Chunin Exams and there is a huge number of participants this year an estimate of 600 genins will be here. So there will be a slight change if a preliminary round is needed we will be having 10 brackets with 16 paricipants each bracket thus we'll have 10 finalist in the finals of the exams now then it's time to know are you going to nominate your genin teams in this year's exams?

"Well I Maito Gai nominate team Gai consisting of the very youthful Rock Lee, Higurashi Tenten and Hyuga Neji for the Chunin exams."

Gai is a tall and well-muscled man. He has fair skin a strong jawline, a somewhat large nose, and black hair. He is most noticeable for his shiny bowl-style haircut and thick eyebrows.He wears a green jumpsuit, orange striped leg warmers, and the standard Konoha flak jacket, which he normally leaves unzipped. His red hitae-ate is worn around his waist like a belt.

After a brief silence a female voice was heard. The female voice belonged to the only female of the group of 5. "I Yuhi Kurenai nominate team 8 consisting of Yamanaka Ino, Inuzuka Kiba and Aburame Shino for the Chunin Exams.

This shocked most of the Chunins including Iruka. That a rookie team will be nominated to participate in the exams

Well I Hatake Kakashi nominate team 7 consisting of Sai, Haruno Sakura and Uchiha Sasuke for the Chunin Exams.

Again Iruka gasped at hearing that another team consisting of his former students were being nominated for the Chunin Exams but didn't say anything just yet.

I Sarutobi Asuma nominates Team 10 consisting of Hyuga Hinata, Nara Shikamaru and Akimichi Choji for the Chunin Exams.

At this Iruka snapped and decided to speak his mind. "Hokage sama permission to speak freely sir."

The hokage then nods and Iruka continued. "Sir three teams that are being nominated are rookie teams they aren't that experience like team 9 and experience is key in this exams."

The Hokage then look at the records of the three rookie and was impressed with team 10's mission record. The hokage then look at the Jonin sensei's of the 3 teams and said "I must say if looking at the mission records of the 3 rookie teams team 10 is the most experience of them all I dare say that it is one of the most successful teams just second to team 11 which consist of a very experience young Kunoichi and two very experience rookies.

The Jonins, Tokubetsu Jonins and some Chunins including Iruka were intrigued at the mentioned team 11 they didn't even know that the team exist until now.

"Iruka kun you have the right to speak and you are right in saying that the chunin exams are not fun and games but you are not the commanding officer of the genins mentioned and the command goes to the immediate commanders and they are the Jonin senseis so if they see that the genins are ready then they'll have the right to nominate their respective teams at their own risk." Hiruzen said in respective way
