~ADDISON POV~

I'm totally screwed.

I toss again in my bed for the hundredth time staring into the darkness. Bryce was fast asleep snoring softly like he had been for the past couple hours since we had some fun with each other. The night was hot and stuffy even though we had our ceiling fan going. I kept moving my legs to find a comfortable position, adjusting my shoulders to sit comfortably against the bed but nothing was working. I finally sit up and stare at the ceiling fan that I can only make out in the dark. Obviously, sleep was not going to happen tonight, or at least not now. I quietly get out of bed and get dressed in a baggy shirt and my underwear.

I head out of the room and down the stairs as the stairs make a slight creaking noise that fills the quiet room. I switch the light on in the kitchen and grab my phone that was on the charger. The time read 4:20 a.m. The weekend meant that I had the whole day off before work late in the evening. I sighed opening my phone and before I could stop myself I was already on Dixie's chat.

"You up?"

I send it to her. I doubt that she would be up at this hour but my mind would not leave me alone if I didn't try. I don't even know why I want to message her. What do I expect? That she will fall madly in love with me, a broken woman who sells her body for money?

My phone vibrates in my hand breaking my thoughts as I look down at the screen.

"Sort of, are you okay?"

I smile at her message.

"I can't sleep :("
"Try closing your eyes"

I roll my eyes and smile at her response.

"Shut up I've tried that for hours!"
"Okay okay, try counting sheep?"
"I don't think counting sheep will help either"
"Do you want to come over?"

My heart starts racing at her message. No stop it! Stop getting excited every time you want to see her.

"Sure"

I reply back before putting my phone down and quietly sneaking out of the apartment. I head over to her door and knock softly. I waited a bit but soon I heard locks being unlocked and the door opened. She smiles when she sees me and I immediately feel more relaxed being in her company.
"Hi Addy" She says and I smile back.
"Hi" I say back and she steps back to let me in. I come inside and she closes the door.
"I smell popcorn" I say smelling the familiar butter smell in the air.

"Yeah well I thought because you couldn't sleep we could eat popcorn and watch movies" My heart flutters at the gesture.
"I'd love that" I say and her smile grows as she heads to the kitchen.
"Why don't you choose a movie so long?" She asks and I nod my head. I take a seat and pick up the remote for the TV and start scrolling through the different movies on Netflix. Dixie put the popcorn in a big bowl and got us something to drink before coming towards me and taking a seat next to me.
"Found anything?" She asks and I shake my head.
"Well...I don't really know what you like. Romance? Comedy? Horror-"

"Horror definitely!" She says and I raise an eyebrow.
"Interesting, chose a horror movie then" I say handing her the remote and she grins at me popping a piece of popcorn into her mouth before scrolling through the movies.
"The nun" She says and I raise my eyebrows.
"Isn't that scary?" I ask her and she looks at me.
"Why you a scaredy cat?" She asks and I roll my eyes.
"I am not. Play the movie" I was definitely a scaredy cat but I dare tell her that. She just smirks and puts the movie on.

I eat some of the popcorn and watch the movie.
"You do know that you are just in your underwear and a shirt right?" She asks me and I grin and look at her.
"Why does it make you all hot and bothered?" I ask fluttering my eyelashes at her seductively. She just smiles and turns her attention back to the movie. We were about 20 minutes into the movie and it wasn't too bad but I found my attention being on her. I kept looking at her and back at the movie.
"Addy..." She whispers and I look at her but she doesn't look at me.
