Rose.

As I walked into my local coffee shop, something felt off. I would know I mean I spent most of my time there. That's me Rose Montgomery, if you don't find me at the coffee shop, you know to go to the library. Usually, there are at least four or more people here, but today there is only one, excluding myself. I was a little confused at first but then I just went on my way and didn't worry.

The only other person in the shop was a boy, a very handsome one at that. I didn't want to stare so I just did a quick glimpse then ordered a peppermint frappe. While I waited for my drink I took another glimpse and let me tell you this boy was perfection. He had a mop of brown hair, blueish/green eyes, and full pink lips. I looked away to find my drink being set in front of me, along with a smile from the cashier.

I took my frappe and went to my usual booth, got comfortable then opened up my book. I dont know how much time passed as I read my book and sipped my coffee, but when I finally looked up I realized the boy was staring at me, very intensly too. I just looked away awkwardly then looked out the window as I finished off my drink. I realized many times that the boy was still staring at me but when I would look at him he looked like he wanted to say something but just looked down instead. So, I decided to stare at him too, I noticed that he was also drinking a peppermint frappe and reading a book.

I got caught up in staring at him and probably looked really creepy. I was staring so hard I noticed every little freckle and mole on his face. I told myself then that I would say something to this boy, he probably wouldn't want to talk to me but still I was going to ask why he was staring. So I didn't really want to go up to him so I stalled. I finished another chapter in my book before I worked up enough courage to leave my booth. When I got up, he was gone.
